Back again with some quick and dirty pics of two more Warmasters!
This time I'm a little bit disappointed that the eyes aren't translucent and also the Gold/Red Warmaster was really hard to put on for some reason.
But overall fantastic quality, Martin! The gold looks gorgeous!

My package from martin arrived. Are you a ninja maker Martin? You make ninja items when you ship items but instead of under the cover of trees, the items are under cover of bubble wraps.

Thanks a lot Hendy!  :)

I was going to hook up a smartphone at first, so I could use the trigger trap app to auto trigger camera and flash by the sound of the cap splashing on the water.
But I ended up doing it manually with quite a bit of try and error... xD

I was supposed to get mine today, but USPS is showing that my package is undeliverable and is being returned to sender?

It would be nice to buy something through GH that didn't have some sort of issue. I have the worst luck on here.

Thanks! I just use a cheap turntable, and I used a protractor and magic marker to draw a mark every 10 degrees thus splitting the turntable into 36 equal slices or angles to take a picture from. One picture for every mark. Or You can also take a picture in between the marks and on them to double the amount of frames which will a more fluid result.

This is the one I use, but I'd like to find something a little smoother.

Hey FoC_Tow,
Your photo skill is very fantastic  :thumb:  I want to know either one or two caps you drop inside the glass?

Thx soo much Martin! <3

I dropped two caps at the same time, but tried to let loose of one slightly earlier intentionally! =)

The picture is actually 100% not photoshopped except for the my name signature that I added.
I only used Lightroom to correct things like white balance, colors and brightness etc but it was taken exactly like this, nothing is faked pretty much they fell just like shown in the photo! xD

The reason the caps are so sharp even while falling is because I used a flash set to a really low setting so it would light up/burn out really quick. (like way below 1/1000 sec even)
And since i did it in a very dark room the picture shows only the moment that happened during flash light so there is like no motion blur.

I also used manual focus (and tripod obviously) to prefocus on my finger, where I estimated the caps would to fall down...

I was kinda wondering if you split it up and took pictures simiuar like you would do for a hyperlapse for example.

On a hyperlapse with like simple left to right or towards something movement, you can use image stabilization very effectively which works wonders in some cases.
It's not as easy for the rotational movement tho, plus a gif isn't the same as a video...

You could eventually stabilize it with video editing software and then make a gif from the edited frames tho.
If you run thru video editing software like a time/hyperlapse you could also use it to create interlaced frames to double the amount of fps (by creating artificial in between frames),
which adds some motion blur but might make movement look smoother as well with like the click of a button.  =)

Ahh thats an interesting thought. I've used stabilization and made hyperlapse stuff before, but it was always with drone footage or handheld stuff. I never really thought about it for this purpose, I might have to try that out.  :thumb:

Incredibly unlikely.  Martin doesn't run a sale until after he has shown that sale's caps.  That process usually takes a few weeks and he hasn't even started teasing them yet.  It will be a while.
