Syruplabs has partnered up with Hammerworks to present a re-run of the sets from R2.
These keysets feature classic colourways based on vintage keyboards or manufacturers.
Hammer uses thick PBT keycaps and crisp dye-subbing to present the vibrant red APL sublegends, deep blue Arabic sublegends, colourful Tulip keys and orange DESKO keys.
Join the GB and be entered in a buyer's giveaway for an additional base set of choice.
update: Of all the R2.2 runs that are going on in various regions we have been told by Hammer that ours is scheduled to ship before the CNY (Early-mid January).
QC should last about a month so expect shipping in February at that rate or earlier.
update 25/10/2019: CRP2.2 will be using R3 Molds which implement tighter tolerances and reduce greatly the risk of twisted stems!!!!

Q: What if I filled in the form earlier and lost my editing link or cannot edit my form?
A: Just fill out a new form I will delete your previous entries.
Q: Is there ISO support?
A: No it will not be offered this round.
Q: Where can I contact you guys?

Q: Is this group buy legit?
A: If you are skeptical about the legitimacy of the group buy you can find our authorization signed by hammer here(https://imgur.com/a/CsHVZzh) and on the front page of the form.
Q: How long is the GB open for? When are you going to ship?
A: The GB will be open until the end of the month. Estimated shipping is 3 months after we send payment (~end of January/Beginning of February).
Q: Why is the Arabic Base Set so much more expensive than the other sets?
A: After talking with Hammer the Arabic dye-subs originally including sub-legends on the numpad and various other keys as well. So the Base set is not only the TKL layout offered in the other base sets but also the numpad, wkl, and r5 kits that are dye-subbed in respect to the set.
Q: What happens if my keycaps are bad after receiving them?
A: The plan we agreed upon with Hammer is to collect all the sets that have quality issues and send them back to him for replacements. We will not cover return shipping. The goal is to catch any major quality issues during the initial QC phase and not send those out. So we hope that this will not become a prominent issue with the buy.
Q: Can I change my order?
A: If you have paid your invoice and want to add items we can send you another invoice for those items. If you have paid your invoice and are removing items or want a refund. We will charge a 5% re-stocking fee due to changes in the paypal policy. In general, please be sure of your order before you pay the invoice.
Q: Will you underdeclare for orders going to __?
A: Our official answer is that we will not underdeclare any of the products we sell. We are a registered Canadian business and we must comply to our regulations.
Q: I had a bad set from R2/R1 (some previous run), can I go through you guys to get them replaced?
A: Our stance on any previous group buys is that we will not pursue concerns or questions from previous group buys. It may seem unfair from the buyer's perspective but we do not feel particularly responsible for issues in buys that we were not apart of. If we were to pursue any concerns or questions from previous GBs it would bog down our current run. We want to give our best efforts in dealing with and running our current GB. It would be unfair to our participants and us to deal with previous issues. We are sorry if this stance is not satisfactory. We hope you and the others who have asked will resolve these issues.

It definitely helps. Thank you very much. I will give it a try as I will get a couple of HHKB sets to mix with my current OG / GMK / ePBT materials. Hopes that the mods match a bit better than the base caps that looks darker than Cherry, at least in the picture.

Unfortunately that has not been confirmed, I believe MD (Drop) will be running R3 before any other vendor, so look out for that :)

2020-01-13 Update
- Production is going and should be done before CNY (Jan 25th) however it's going to cut it close.
- Hammer has given us 2 shipping dates either Jan 20th or February the 8th
- February the 8th is after CNY and this was given in the case where they are not done packaging before CNY
- A delay is not ideal but shouldn't put us behind schedule and if it does then not too far behind (~ 1-2 weeks)
- Expect shipping to you sometime in mid-late February depending on when it's shipped to us. We will announce what's happening with extras in the future.

2020-01-20 Update
- Hammer has informed us that most of his workers have already left for CNY so we're looking at a February ship date
- Not ideal but it is what it is.
- Starting on Feb 3rd we'll be adopting a once a week (this was planned in the case of delays) update until it's been received by us (which can range from a non-update to it's shipped!)
- Next scheduled update will be Feb 3rd.

Early Announcement 2020-01-29
- We are delayed :(
- Hammer is located in Guangdong Province so they will not be able continue manufacturing/packaging because the province has issued an order for all businesses in the province to close until Feb 9th. We expected them back on Feb 1st but at this rate the earliest shipment to us would be sometime in March assuming no more delays.
- Obviously not ideal but considering the situation in China I don't believe we're the only the GB being affected
- Sorry for the inconvenience and we'll be sure to keep up a line of communication
- Next scheduled update will be on Feb 17 (should have been on the 10th but best case scenario they would have only been back one day)

Here are some of the key updates from discord.
2020-02-17: CRP Update
- the factory is "open" in the loosest sense of the word. Since the 10th, there is a single employee at the factory because the rest of the workers including Hammer himself are not being allowed back into the province.
- that being said that one worker is working on the keycaps but at the pace only one person in a factory can.
TL;DR the factory is virtually closed and will be until the province opens up.
2020-03-02 Update
- Batch is still undergoing production by the one worker
- The return of the other workers either this week or the next
- Once they're back it should be done shortly - ETA of shipment to Syrup Labs = end of March
- Current production photos attached
- Next Update: 2020-03-09 (on discord). After shipment has arrived keep a lookout for a bigger update

- CRP is no longer a one-man production. The cavalry is arriving tonight here or tomorrow in china and they'll be pulling OT to get the sets done. tada
- With that being said, ETA early to mid April to us - this is accounting for any shipping delays that may occur due to Covid19

Some Updates from the Discord (2020-05-18)
- https://forms.gle/SUkUCQVWHFo7HTVEA Opt-in form for GB participants who want to try for extras and want to hopefully get their order + extra in one shipment. If a GB participant is not interested in extras they won't have to fill out the form and will be sent their order once the shipment arrive.
- Shipment is currently on track to hit customs by Wednesday and expected to spend about a week there. Shipment of GB orders should occur either by this weekend or next.
- Details for extras will be revealed once the GB orders have been accounted for. There will be ample warning before they drop.

Most orders have been dropped off at he courier's office and paypal tracking will be updated slowly heading towards the end of the weekend. If you have not received tracking by the 16th please contact the support team.

There was an R4 that was already run, but hasn't delivered yet. Presumably they will have some extras. You can join their discord (linked on the first page) for updates and info. They are very active on discord.
