I suppose nobody likes domestic cars these days.

I have no idea what you mean by "domestic cars" but Badwrench's post clearly shows you can have a lowered car be practical.

All fails. No question. When you do this to your car, you might as well throw your money in the toilet.

Edit: I don't want to even go into the "bags" excuse. Even after doing that, you may be able to rise the car to a "normal" height, but it will still feel terrible. Not to mention the weight of the system. The whole concept is insane and foolish. The cars look like Hot Wheels that have been stepped on. Have a nice day!

Yes. It just makes me wonder what happened to common sense. If you want to make your vehicle look like the Jolly Green Giant stepped on it, handle like a baby deer standing for the first time, ride like a Jeep taking on Moab, and go to a doctor for back problems.
Waste your money and do your projects. Sell your car after you're done to some 16-year old gullible kid when you're finished.  Or save some money and buy a real car.

Been playing a lot of Forza over the last month and I think the Mazda Cosmo Sport has become my favorite car of all time.

I've fallen in love so quickly, it's been like a whirlwind. I picked it up for the sports classic races and immediately liked it's lines and '60s Japanese spy car look. Few days later I attended a retro car show, and what do you know, one of the rarest classic sports cars outside of Japan was there. I got to behold it in person! As if fate was not to outdo itself, a few days later the Cosmo was featured on an episode of Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee!

I think the universe is trying to tell me something, but honestly it doesn't need to work too hard. I'm already in love.

What's not to love about this rare beauty? Everything about it screams a sophisticated individualized personality that still lives for sheer pleasure. From it's retractable accouterments, to it's hounds tooth seats and lush red carpet. And all those superfluous dials? My goodness.

Plus this little pistol of a car has a Wankle Engine. What's a Wankle you might ask? Well instead of pistons pumping up and down it has a triangle that spins around and around. As if this vehicle couldn't be even more amazing  ;D

how can anyone look at this and not immediately smile?

wonder how a wankle works?
