Wow, that looks really blue in that light! Really nice cap though, Slo-Fi is my favorite, I got an Ellis Island Light Orc from the recent sale, alas no Slo-Fi but I have a buying thread up and hope I am lucky in the zeal raffle/next sale.

To be fair, these are from the recent sale and it's called Ellis Island Dark Slo-fi.

You still have the only Pine Green in your bag!

A very, very danq package made it's way to my mailbox today....

First impressions post coming shortly. I want to write something worthy of this cap.

Edit: Here it is. Click More, since it's a long one!

More
For almost a century, the tale of the mythical cthulhu has been passed on from generation to generation as deity beyond our wildest imaginations. Thanks to one artist, we praise the mystical cthulhu in our world in the form of keycaps as Keythulhus. Our Keythulhus have swam amongst the Keyboard Sea preventing our escape, or as Guardians of the Great Collectors.  It was not until recently that this artist has discovered an entirely new, yet similar beast. The Skullthulhu.

* grumpycat  needs to understand light and white balance

Only a select number of Skullthulhus have been discovered thus far; the Skullthulhu is an elusive creature, and prefers spending most of its time lurking in its underworld lair, commanding orders for the minion Keythulhus to carry out. Unlike the other sea and land creatures envisioned by Master Binge, the Skullthulhu has a shape allowing it to silently slip on to any keyboard raft of its choosing.

But one does not simply find the Skullthulhu. The Skullthulhu chooses its fateful ones by embarking on a treacherous journey no man would ever wish his worst enemy to encounter - The United States Postal Service. Upon arrival to its temporary resting place, it lures the chosen one to their makeshift headquarters whenever it is well and ready to do so.

The moment had come. I was entranced by the thought I would finally get to meet my endgame creature. As I carefully opened my treasure, the Skullthulhu saw daylight and lashed out in fear and confusion into the palm of my hand. Evidence of time spent lurking in the Keyboard Sea was evident as I encountered magical bits of Skullthulhu Dust, and with a moment of worship, became one with the dust. Future Skullthulhu travels may significantly benefit from extra armor in the form of a plastic bag to prevent such dust from empowering the non-believers.

Upon closer examination, I came to realize that the Skullthulhu was a friendly creature; with playful tentacles all around, there's a soft and squishy interior hiding beneath the menacing skull. The stem on this Danq Skullthulhu was of the highest order - besting other artisan keycap makers from around the globe. The stem protrudes from the back of the beast in a uniform and cyndrillical manner without error - the same cannot be said for my tangy and chillax Slo-Fi. On my particular raft, fitted with the iconic Granite DSA keyset, the Skullthulhu finds a quick friend and comfortable home with the Green Gamer set. Very danq indeed.

* grumpycat  notices disgusting hair on keycap
* Skullthulhu  never tells anyone it was all its fault.

After just a few moments, it is so easy to see why the Skullthulhu was a sought after cap in the 50 Shades of Green Sale. Master Binge has allowed something truly special to emerge from the depths of the Keyboard Sea. With every crevice and corner oozes the love an artist places into their craft. So with all of this said, I would like to say two words: Thank You.

....
* grumpycat   wakes from slumber

* grumpycat   wonders what happened and how this random keycap ended up in my room

* grumpycat   resumes normal activity.... >:D
