KKINGKKONG Classic CS Keyboard

Hello! I'm Chanmin Kang.
While we were preparing GB for the previous IC, we're going to introduce a slightly different keyboard.
This keyboard, manufactured in a limited quantity, will be sold at a price of $470.

For a quiet typing experience, the weight of the keyboard is made of carbon steel.
The weight is finished with a CERAKOTE™. It won't rust or discolor and will decorate under your keyboard for a long time.
The case offers two options, anodizing and ceracoat.

※ The picture is under development and may be slightly different from the actual product.

Key Features:
1. Heavy carbon steel weight
2. Fully programmable QMK firmware support PCB
3. USB Type-C Connector
4. AL60XX case
5. 4T thick CNC machining plate

If you are interested in this keyboard, please fill out the form below.

If you have any questions, please leave them below!

We are currently relocating our office. There may be delays in answering some questions, but we'll help you as soon as possible.

Wanna know the details of plate options & materials, mounting style, and typing angle.  :thumb:

Also, is it possible to have an option to remove the led holes on the top left? I'm not a fan of led  :)

Includes a plate of 4T thickness aluminum. Optionally, a 4T thick brass material will also be available.

First of all, I will show you the image of the sample plate that we are currently producing. No post-processing has been done yet.

What mounting system does this use? I assume top mount? Also, what do u mean by 4T thickness aluminum? Is it 4mm plate or something? Is there gonna be any engraving on the board or is it gonna be stock?

Carbon steel? Now that’s an interesting one I wasn’t expecting. Would you be able to use a softer plate material such as PP, PC or POM?

The plate is made of 4T aluminum for a uniform feel.

This is a plate on our other keyboard using the same method.
It has a thickness of 4T and a 1.5mm layer to hold the switch.

The case and plate are sandwich-mounted.

1.5mm FR4 full plate please.

We are considering the FR4 plate. Additional gaskets will be required because they are designed to use a plate of 4mm.

we made a case for a thick plate, we didn't consider a soft plate.
However, we have experience in making plates of various materials, including PCs, from other GBs. This means that if there is sufficient demand for soft plates, they may be added.

KKINGKKONG stands for '낑꽁' in Korean. It has a similar pronunciation to what Sycomore has described.

If represented using IPA, it would look like this (Maybe it's not accurate!) :
/k̕iŋk̕oŋ kʰɯllɛɕik̚ ɕ̕iesʰɯ/

I asked my Korean friend.
They say the quality of the product's producers is not good.
Are you confident in product quality?

First of all, thank you for your interest in our keyboard.
I'm sorry to hear that you think there is a problem with the quality of the keyboard we made.
We acknowledge that there have been some problems in the previous GB, such as the delivery schedule.
But we have a sense of attachment and responsibility for the keyboard that we made.
We've changed a lot since the previous GB.

We decided to recognize our own problems and change them.
As proof of that, this keyboard will be released in the form of a preorder, not a GB.
For a high level of thorough quality control, we decided to produce only a limited quantity.

So you don't have to worry about delays in shipping or quality issues.
We are working hard for the best satisfaction.
You can look forward to it. We'll surprise you.

This looks very nice. What is the weight of the keyboard unbuilt?
