INTRO

GMK in ISO ES is impossible to find. Let's change that. With the release of GMK Clásico, we hope to:

- Make ISO ES WOB happen and in stock.
- Although financially difficult, we hope to expand the keyboard hobby in Spain (and potentially other regions)
- Utilize GMK ISO ES Molds for clean looking legends.
- Offer the keys at an affordable price.
- Do not have to buy keycaps you don't need.

This is also a  good start to continue to expand on multiple language options. In the future, we would love to have a baseline of GMK options for different languages. We could do a GMK Classique for Azerty users or GMK Klassisch for ISO DE. So no matter the language or layout, we may be able to find at least an option for you

This is a big project for us, given some of the challenges, but with your support, I am sure we will get there in no time. We would appreciate if you could share this to your friends in order to make this possible ❤️

Great news! Thanks for making WOB available for ISO-ES users. I'll no doubt be getting it.

The renders show ,< instead of ,; but the kitting shows it right. Also for the tilde and ç the {} are shown as secondary legends as opposed to tertiary.

I think it would be great if split spacebars and a second B were included in the kit, but I understand that would make it more expensive.

I have many observations about the legends, but they probably are just render issues.

With that said, take special care of the Alt Gr keycaps, which are not present in the render (and GMK is perfectly capable of forgetting them if not told explicitly to do ’em).


Also, make it explicit in this IC you’re going with the es-ES («Spanish (Spain)») layout and not es-LA («Spanish (Latin America)») or, for that matter, ib-ES («Iberoamerican Spanish») or es-ES-pr («Spanish for Programmers»).

As the render stands now, there are two R4 1U Fn keys. One could be taken out in favor of a second B.

You are correct! Renders issues that need to be fixed on our side. We are also getting tons of feedback regarding the Spanish sideprints and other details.

On this IC, we were targeting es-ES, as we are more familiar with that, and mostly seeing if the demands exist for it to be a feasible project.

GMK should must surely already have molds for the es-ES layout’s alpha keys. It remains to be seen how many errors they may contain, though (the interpunct (a.k.a. “punt volat”) lowered to a regular period sign comes immediately to mind; so does the LOWercase Ç in the relevant keycap).

Come to think of it, some of the modifier keycaps in “undue” positions (R3 Page Down, R4 End, etc.) may have no molds available and this could raise the project’s cost.

All the spanish keyboards that I have seen had it, I attached a few example, and the already existing mold from NorDe.

GMK black snail EsFr missed that as well.
