Those Canadians have big houses :)

Is that what you call them up there? :p

Thanks for the complements guys! Those Peacock branded G80/81s come up on German eBay from time to time for pretty cheap. I was very pleased to find my G80-3494 cherry red PCB fit the case perfectly. Some of the older G80/81 cases have a different mounting pattern that will not fit the newer cherry PCBs like the one I had.

that must be i3wm ?
Also, on the pic it doesnt look like you have alot of space "under" your desk, it looks like you need to bend your knees in order to "fit in" the table :)

It's interesting to see that someone had pretty much the same equipment and stuff. Oh, you noticed that helmet thing.. guess I'll include it somewhere in the future.

It's actually herbstluftwm. There's plenty of space to put my legs in but it really looks like a tight spot in that picture because you don't see the whole thing in it.

No problem at all :)

I actually brought all of my mechs to work, and sorrounded myself with the magnificence of clicks and clacks :)
People don't mind the sound when they are part of making it :)

Some hate me for bringing them, because they love mechanical boards now.
They started to slowly buy out my collection and/or get themselves gaming boards :)

So no, finally no problem with using mechanical keyboard :)

Yeah, when I first set it up I had the monitor a little further back and it got a little warm, but I moved it forward and now its fine.

Got my gf a DSLR for her birthday and I needed to try it out first :p

Moved by desk to the other wall now so that windowsill isn't in the way anymore.

LEDs color is changing, thanks to IKEA :D

With flash.

The PC itself.

Tried some close up shots:

Hope you enjoy :)

My setup. My main computer is an NCase M1 based computer on the little shelf under the desk and my work laptop under the monitor stand. I use remote access software to access the laptop and use dual monitors on the main computer. Its a Pok3r; my first really decent mech, but I'm building a custom to feed the addiction.

Nice board on your home setup. Is the polished aluminum cylinder on your desk a remote volume control or ...?

It is :) Or whatever, actually. It's an old Griffin PowerMate.

My current desktop set up. Includes two X2xx series ThinkPad laptops and an ASUS monitor that needs to be RMA's for crystal bleed.  Keyboard is the surprisingly good Noppoo Lolita Spyder 87 with a custom keycap set from WASDKeyboards.

That is a VERY cool work board! Those orange mods are awesome.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

Thanks! I also put orange alps switches in it, and swapped the green status leds to… yeh also orange :) I love this keyboard so much, and I love typing on it, and I love the sound from it when I type on it! (I say stuff like this out loudly every day at work.. I think they know by now how mentally disturbed I am.)

The BT one sounded cool, but the Amazon reviews were all over the place so I just went with the USB one -- found a used-but-clean one on eBay for $24 which seems resonable for something I don't actually NEED.

Another powermate owner here and I use it solely for adjusting volume. Probably the best $30 I've ever spent on my desk setup. Ever since I got rid of my old Logitech G11 I missed having the scrollable volume, and this is the perfect replacement. Bluetooth would be nice but last I heard, the drivers weren't working on Windows 7. Did that change?

Good thinking! Yeh, also the USB one is more of a classic I think. It's got a more unique look.

Where can I get this Apple wrist rest?

Hmm.. I'm afraid it may be hard to find anywhere. I bought it back in the 90's from where.. I don't remember. Possibly in Cupertino.
