Designed by Doctor Doofen, Designer of the Ace 6.5

Harry Houdini, known as the most famous and talented escape artist of the century, has kept his methods secret to this day. Harry Houdini performed many death-defying stunts, such as escaping straitjackets while hanging upside down from a crane and dangling 40 feet up in the air. The Chinese Water Torture Cell, escaping from locks, and the list goes on. Something not so many people know about him is that his real name isn't Harry or Houdini. His name was Erik Weisz. When designing this board, I adapted Houdini’s name and style to create.

I like the look of this a lot besides for the knob. It being off center just looks weird to me.

Design is ok, way too much going on. And that right knob is not good at all. off center is weird

I actually think the knob is really interesting, I like that it isn't a knob like most other implementations and is instead a scroll - I feel like it would be much more ergonomic to use compared with a traditional knob. That being said, I still agree that the rest of the board is really busy and there's far too much going on. I'm really not a fan of the XT + exploded + knob + badge. I feel like if you simplified the board a bit and kept the unique knob design you could end up with something good. As it is though this feels like something nobody would really be interested in.

Besides the blatant lock, I still don't quite understand your inspiration. The design is busy and the layout is personally not for me. Best of luck.

Just like Harry Houdini, my interest in this board disappeared!
