Well, why not, at least it's reasonably clean right now:

my combined living, storage and working space.

Long standing issue would be how to display my keyboards without just having them sit on a shelf. A wall mounted vitrine might be the right thing, so they can stand up behind a glass door. I really need to tackle this once I move.

Lagavulin is great too. I have the 16yo myself, but would really like to try out their new 8yo release. You can never have too many bottles from Islay.

My current setup, I even dont regret the downgrade to two displays at all. Now I can finally place my scanner on the desk and leave it where it belongs. The only thing thats still missing is the turntable for the amp. I think I put the audio stuff on a lower shelf or something under the desk.

Temporary workspace while I'm out of my office. There's a mouse off to the right, and the wireless receiver for the mouse is plugged into the back of the HHKB. There's a paperback book under the laptop

Why not put the HHKB on top of the Mac's keyboard. I use my laptop (MBP though) like that every day. I like the trackpad better than a mouse

I've tried that and can't stand it. It feels awful to use, the keyboard makes it weird to see the bottom of the screen, and it puts my wrists awkwardly high. It just never sits right. Maybe it's a little more roomy on the MPB. I also prefer to get the screen up a little bit, if possible.

That's a fair argument. I used it like that on my girl friends MBA a couple of times, and I didn't have any issues with it. For me it makes no difference whether the screen is lifted a few cm. And I really like the built-in trackpad

I use it every time I am on. I like to multitask or have something playing on the background. I usually have a movie, youtube or xfinity steaming (for sports mostly) playing even though I have a TV to my right. I find it a lot more comfortable to glance up then turn my head.

I mainly only use it to watch movies and play simple games. I used to play Battlefield 4 and GTA, but those were always on the real monitors.

I work from home, this is where I do it.

I tend to keep two keyboards at the desk, and two trackballs. I find spreading out the use between boards, and hands on the mouse, makes it so I can avoid pain from repeated motions. Also, it means I can have more macros and junk programmed with the extra keys available. Having a board on top of the desk also helps for times when I need to be typing and reaching back and forth for a mouse a lot.

Really loving this ultraportable setup: custom BT GON 60, MS BT Wedge mouse, Surface Book. Full productivity but light weight and quick unpacking/packing up which is great since I'm grabbing an hour here and there of work these days.
