The right side is cut to accommodate the mic stand clamp, the duct tape is covering veneer that keeps getting caught and peeling off, the front of the drawers are gone because they were too wide for my comfy chair. Also, it was like a $10 desk free from my roomie, so I don't feel particularly bad about it.

I was skeptical at first, but I really enjoy it. I never thought I'd spend that kind of money on a lamp though lol. This thread made me start to question my lighting setup haha.

I just got idea for color scheme. It was nice to do something that goes along instead of random stuff. Red is not my favorite color, matt black maybe more

Where I spend a lot of my time.
Far left monitor is connected to another pc running Linux for testing/experimentation/other purposes.
Middle and right monitor running on Windows PC.
Use Synergy to connect to the Linux machine. It works for me!

Re organizing a bit, have had to add a bunch of DAC's and one HDMI audio stripper once I added the Switch/PS4 to my monitor setup along with my Mini ITX Alienware that only had Toslink for sound so also added a DAC to that as well.

Thanks. It's such a visceral experience. The crisp feedback from the capacitive buckling springs; the machine-gun like rattle; the fact that it's ages old, that it's got a rusty backplate.. It's got personality; character. It's an instrument to me. My end game for sure. Oh, and the skinny enter didn't take long to adjust to at all. Now I strike it in the center without error. Definitely a non-issue.

Interesting.

I use now a similar layout with no function nor number pad keys along with contemporary mods. It has greens and feels awesome to me. I still have all the keys for giving the original XT layout a try, even with its hat style keys, but in Cherry.
