Came back here and wondered why I wasn't vibing the set as much - turns out I greatly prefer text only mods, so I hope that's the direction you are taking with this (haven't read through the entire thread). Seems to make a huge difference on this set IMO.
I would also like to see the darker space as part of the base kit (if at all possible) to go with the arrows, but understand the limitations

Text+icon was necessary for running a set with sublegends in a different language. Having both base kits match in the mods was also important to me, mismatching mods wouldn’t have been a great look. It’s essentially two different sets at that point.

Keeping accent arrows and bars out of base kits was done to keep prices lower. Hope you can understand that reasoning!

Small thing - your label for stepped caps and r3 control should be 1.75u, not 2u

So in order to keep things as simple as possible, I decided to treat the alternate base kit as more of a novelty option. If I had tried to kit for the alt base with entirely the same compatibility as the standard base kit, it would have ended with either a more expensive base kit than I am okay with or far too many kits than I am okay with running (because they likely would not reach MOQ).

I hope you can understand that reasoning!

why is there no F13? also the cheap base kit doesn't matter because you have to spend at least $150 to get a full (but still incomplete) base kit, which is much more expensive than most complete base kits.
