Great show. 1st episode is so good.

I've had a couple of R3 keyboards in addition to several R1 and R2 boards, and the build quality is definitely the worst on the R3.  There are more keys that sound rattly or have spring ping than any other Topre keyboard I've owned.  It was also disappointing that they finally started greasing the space bar stabilizer, but not any of the others, so I've still had to take apart the R3s to lube the stabs.  My current one is the 45g Leopold version with blue and grey keycaps, which I love.  I also like how it's wireless, so it's got a permanent place on my desk.  The only thing that's tempting about the R4 is how it can turn itself back on by just putting your hands close to the keyboard.

In 2024 we ran our first public group-buy with the PoorKoi 1, an acrylic stacked keyboard. 30 happy users were very surprised by the clack of this simple 60% made with love. This was our first project, mistakes were made, but we learned a lot and we got confident that we could push even further: having the same thing in a cnc'd alu/polycarbonate version!
We are aiming for the same clack and feeling with the alu/polycarbonate version – with an affordable price. No brass weight or copper that are expensive if you don't sell 200 units. Simple design with references of the v1.

We had to make a stand between affordability and customization with a trusty and high-quality manufacturer – DDS while upgrading our game: laser cut Poron gaskets, custom carrying case, in house hotswap pcb (as well as new solder one) !
