Here is a potato pic of it.  In the pic it looks like the yellows match ok but in reality it clashes a lot lol.  The case yellow is too bright against the yolky rf yellow.  Some day when I find a yellow blank set I will do another yellow case that matches.

Blanks my favourite on the hhkb, they need to run those orange, red and blue ones again, they are such good colours

cherry blacks - unlubed - filmed and springswapped with tx 55g mediums - alu Plate | pretty happy with this, the blacks were cherry picked so they weren't that scratchy to begin with, but currently breaking them in, may lube them with a dry lube like ro59 or ptfe powder.

bad orange alps lol | definitely needs a restoration. planning on wax boiling them and maybe a replacement pcb because the board has only 2 key rollover apparently.

stock with silent reds | Pretty cool looking board, the silent reds are actually good, they are smooth and I don't mind the mushiness (it's not even that mushy as well). the layout is pretty weird, but is useable. will probably mod this in the future. maybe a pcb and plate swap, change the keycaps to something dolch like, and also spring swap the springs in the silent reds.

Built with new nixies on pc half plate. Love this board already, probably the best looking board I own, those brass accents are so mint. Really like it as is, but I do want to try an alu build (probably with nixies as well) just to experiment with that.

those blank sets are the topre infinity stones, especially the blue and white sets (I wasn't even convinced they existed for a while)

It's been a while. I recently moved house and as a result, a lot of my Topre stuff that was in storage for a long time has bubbled to the surface.
Here's my MCRW-5000 system. If you guys want pics of anything else in my collection, I can do that.

I somehow missed this originally --this is a thing of beauty! *drool* I've always wanted that numpad for artisan display as well.  Thanks for sharing, not many pics of these around!

korea can be a good market for them as well. just skimming this week alone i can see full size white/beige, black/black, and gray/blue 10th's, and most of the time they're only around $100 USD if they're used. china will have 104 pro's and 103u's, and is also probably the quickest place to find a NIB 104u- but the asking price for the latter is typically around $250.

keyboard collection - fjell

cherry blacks - unlubed - filmed and springswapped with tx 55g mediums - alu Plate | pretty happy with this, the blacks were cherry picked so they weren't that scratchy to begin with, but currently breaking them in, may lube them with a dry lube like ro59 or ptfe powder.

bad orange alps lol | definitely needs a restoration. planning on wax boiling them and maybe a replacement pcb because the board has only 2 key rollover apparently.

gateron yellows - lubed with 205g0 - 62g tx mediums - pc plate | probably my favourite keyboard already, feels super nice and sounds pretty good, it's got a great layout as well. probably gonna build this with mx browns, I feel like it would suit the board more.

stock with silent reds | Pretty cool looking board, the silent reds are actually good, they are smooth and I don't mind the mushiness (it's not even that mushy as well). the layout is pretty weird, but is useable. will probably mod this in the future. maybe a pcb and plate swap, change the keycaps to something dolch like, and also spring swap the springs in the silent reds.

Built with new nixies on pc half plate. Love this board already, probably the best looking board I own, those brass accents are so mint. Really like it as is, but I do want to try an alu build (probably with nixies as well) just to experiment with that.

I had about 4 or 5 already, failing every time not being able to use it without arrows cluster, but always think - maybe this time it will be fine?!

Might just be best to not stick to it again, I can use layer arrows but I can understand why someone couldn't.

It would be wise to do that, but thing is, it is so beautiful, for some reason I like compactness of hhkb, plus amazing sound of typing on classic one, plus the feeling of it when I touch the caps with finger tips... plus having hhkb = 1337 in keyboard universe :D

If youre not in a terrible financial bind, I'd suggest picking one up on the aftermarket, they can get fairly cheap if youre vigilant enough. Browse the jp marketplace (Sendico is a great service that allows you to check Mercari, Yahoo Auctions, etc) for a sweet deal.

Domeswapped with older pro2 as I prefer a bit more tactility.

Yea, it popped up for sale in hardoff a few months ago. It's not in 100% health though as there is a small piece of a corner missing between upper and lower parts of the case. Otherwise its in perfect (for me) condition :)

It does have its original keycaps as well although it's sporting some JDL caps at the moment.
