the texture is identical, they might be a tad slicker? but not that I can tell. There's a degree or two more wobble off the axis compared to stock buttons though.

Got my GameCube buttons and wow. These are awesome!
The only custom buttons I've ever gotten were for my GBA SP and standard GBA. I was not impressed with the buttons for the GBA because they had a finish (or maybe it's the plastic itself) that caused soreness from constant pressing/rubbing. For controller buttons you want them smooth.

And that's what Katz did here. They are like stock Nintendo buttons to the touch. They are extremely smooth on the surface, whereas the Start button has a nice matte finish on it. I'd upload some pics but I forgot my phone. My set is B10. Aimed for B9 to have that sparkly galaxy set, but considering mine have touched only Katz's hands before I'll probably just keep. (But if the person who got B9 wants to part with the set lemme know anyways.)

Bravo, Katz. Gotta figure out if I want to put these in either my silver WaveBird, black Smash edition controller, or white controller. Will upload a pic of it once done.
