What keycaps are those?  I'd really like the same board, but I can't read the dark keycaps and I dont like the white version (and it's not in stock at elitekeyboards).  Are those a Widebasket set?

Good to know.  While I wish they were a bit less expensive (ok, alot less expensive), I'll budget that into my eventual RF purchase.

It's a damn shame there's no HiPro TKL, I'd be over that like (insert any bad analogy here).

Same colors I have on my HHKB with the exception of the fn/esc keys.  Where did you get those?  I'd like to find red ones, assuming I can find them in PBT with topre profile and stems (duh!).

They are by Hot Keys Project. They are very nicely made. Now I'm just waiting for silencing rings for this board, such that I can compare to my Type-S. I think I prefer the board silenced.

I dental banded my RF 88UB today.  :)

My desk acted as my workstation.


Cup rubber goodness.


With and without the dental band installed.


I found some cheapo 1/8" 2.5 oz rubber bands on eBay, straight outta China.


Apparently the brand is called Chipmunk?  :)


No more clacking, only wonderful thocking. Surprised how quiet it is now, better than I initially expected. Lovely!

Depends on who you ask, really!

For me, it was very easy. I took the stickers, the keyboard, gave it to my gf and asked her to align them on the board. Easy.

Her part, however, not sure :D I'd say you should just put them on softly without pressing, align them with toothpicks, then press them. Afterwards, your fingerprints and some glue residue will be seen on the sticker. I've tried removing the residue with some microfiber cloth, but the fibers stuck on it. I'm going to try with a sunglasses cloth or something like that - something without fibers.
