I finally have a board of my own to post here.  :)

Your name seems familiar... Almost too familiar

But nice board! I usually only see KK caps on white HHKBs, and not black ones. I think they actually look better on a black one!

They do look amazing on the black board.  When I was setting that all up for her I made sure to pick some colors that would pair well with the black (though I don't think there are really any that would look bad anyway).  :)

3D clack. Dunno why, but I havnt seen a board that looks good with it on.

But then again I am horribly color blind and my world is a skewed anyways.

They were 88$ if I remember right (70$ + 18$ s/h) from a man in reddit, but his 2u mold broke and he isn't sure how long it will be before he starts making then again.

Hopefully JTK sliders will be available soon. Hell I got mine as an add-on with a keyset and it was still less than 70.

The fact he's charging that much for garbage is hilarious, and even more funny that people buy it.

I bought a set of sliders from Bunny for 43$ including shipping (less in you're CONUS). So...

In a Mechanical Con, it can be like, "Get the puller, and let's show us what colorways you have underneath..."   :))

(I hope everyone understand I am joking. I'm just really amazed by the colorful stems that won't be seen normally, like our under garments -- they would be enjoyed in the workshops by only the selected few.)

There is an unlubed HHKB BT, metal plate HHKB proto, lubed Pro 1 & 2 lubed Pro 2's but one was lubed better.

What lube(s) did you use, and where and how did you lube the switches to get good result?
Not planning for some silencing mod? (Not even those that doesn't reduce apparent key travel?)

For the metal plate, will it improve the feel of keystroke on HHKB? As I've heard some prefer the softer PCB-mounted feel of the HHKB. Is it complicated to install it?

So many questions... I'm a newbie.  :p

These are the boards. I'm working on a sound comparison video of the boards with silencing mods. So there's the RK RC930 topre clone w/ vortex pbt keycaps, fc660c stock, novatouch w/ hypersphere rings and w/ epbt cyrillic keycaps, and dental banded 87u

Oh, very ambitious. It's cool to see someone pull this off. Did you have to do any destructive modifications for this? It's a bit hard to tell, but I'd assume so.
