Calling the boards industrial, meaning you don't know the fundamental basics of IBM keyboards. Don't know the basics on cap cleaning, meaning you won't have the slightest idea on how to refurb these to a usable and respectable state.
I hope I'm wrong on this assumption and you do something somewhat useful with these boards...
I meant terminal - there are no industrials in the haul. I just one post before had said "Some SSK, some Terminal boards, and 2 never used 102s!"
I was tired and mistyped, probably because I'd just looked at an actual industrial SSK on eBay that had gone for over $1000.
I said what I said because terminal boards are hard to get working on PCs due to using type 3 encoding.
And why would I say I would harvest an industrial, when they sell for the highest prices?
I found the easiest thing was to put them in a mesh bag (laundry, potatoes, etc.) and throw them in the dishwasher. If that doesn't do it then I use denture cleaner.
