LoTR is okay imo. Some people think it's a masterpiece while others think it sucks. I'm in the middle. It wasn't the best but good enough for me to watch the whole series.
I am waiting for PM

Including the new legend fee, how much am I paying? I don't remember seeing an invoice recently.

Thanks!

Edit: I have the extended LOTR movie at home, which is almost 12 hours (IIRC). Well worth it, especially since I've read the books. True, they do bog down a little in places (He spends more time talking about legolas picking up arrows than the actual battles sometimes) but they're good.

Also, what was the longest film? Wast is that 8 hour sleep one or I think there was one showing 24 hours of the empire state bldg in realtime, but it's less boring, as you can see airplanes fly by and stuff. Then there's the famous "Origami box destroy" one on youtube, which is like 14 days: Something like 260 hours.

LoTR is a great series especially on Blu-Ray.  I think it's one of the best looking films I've seen in a long time.  And I'm also a huge Harry Potter fan and I have watched the movies on Blu-Ray since I got it for Christmas.

We should do a Harry Potter keycap GB :)

Watch half of each per sitting. It's more like reading the novels which are split into 6 'books'. That's how I watched it last time; I want to try cutting the movies up sometime and putting them in book order like the Star Wars re-edits that are floating around on the net.

Okay, no worries, I just don't want to miss out by mistake.

About LOTR, I like to watch them all in a row, but then again that's sort of what I do. I did the same thing with firefly: Just spent a weekend watching it all. Still, Splitting the extended versions up into 6 "books" is an excellent idea, as LOTR is 6 books contained in 3 volumes.

Now that they're making the hobbit: When the Silmarillion documentary come out? I have a good idea who can do the soundtrack (or at least trailer music).
