I can't wait, they all look stunning! Normally I go for dark colors, but I am definitely leaning towards a bright color with these. Fingerprints, smudges, and everything else showing up on dark colors is getting to me after too long.

i was thinking about the black before that pink was announced. that pink is amazing. it really does look like an automotive paint job. and the lime green seems perfect with terminal.

great job with this, i hope to get one :).

Very much looking forward to it.

It’s more of a metallic grey. It’s a Mopar color that’s currently out, Granite Crystal Metallic.

My nipples metapodding, confirmed in for 2 or moreif it will support Latching SKCM alps.

Since it runs QMK, it supports locking keys on caps, scroll, or num lock. If you're on an OS that doesn't understand locking lock keys, you have to enable locking resync but it's a very tested and reliable feature in QMK.

Also, a tease. There's a huge advantage to using a MCU that has enough pins that we don't have to remap dedicated function pins like I2C into GPIOs to drive the matrix.

Anyway, those pink and green ones look special. I can see myself indulging in this if the funds allow.

They’re plastic. They start life as a Cherry G80 case and undergo a refurbishment process. I’m not sure how that fact got omitted from the post, my bad. I’ll update it shortly.

They're nice, but I sure hope this isn't too pricey.  If you look closely at the prototypes, the blue has some paint issues on the right corner by the seam, and the green has issues in the middle by the seam.  I personally wouldn't want to pay top dollar for cases that had cosmetic issues.  My personal opinion, but I've never seen painted finishes on keyboards come back flawless.

What’s “top dollar” in your eyes?

The cases I’m shooting with are ones that had issues from the paint shop. I have been playing around with the appliqués and diffuser stickers and didn’t want to handle the cases we will be selling too much to keep them pristine. We will have A stock options with no imperfections on the top case, maybe slight imperfections on the bottom case (where you don’t see it) and also B stock options that have slight imperfections like the ones you pointed out and will be selling those at a discount.

<$100 for the case only? You’re in good shape.

If you’re expecting this full kit to be sub-$100 you’re gonna have a bad time.

Is there a price range you're hoping to hit for the whole kit? I'd imagine with all the pcb work, that accounts for half the price.

The price I've seen mentioned has been $250~ pretty consistently, I may be wrong though as that was not directly from TKC. Pretty steep for a plastic case most people would say (and potentially true), however with the entire process this has to go through I'd say it seems quite fair.

Floating around 200 would be ideal IMO, but considering the amount of labor put into this (obtaining the cases, painting them, etc.), I'd consider 250 to be more than reasonable. But then again, they also have me wrapped around their finger with the blue g80 + skidata...

I want to be very cautious quoting prices until I’m sure this factory doing the PCBs is up to my standard.

However I’ll safely say that a full kit (PCB, plate, plain Jane case) will be under $180. I’m teying to make the base model kit as close to $150 as I can.

Not an official statement here but I can say this:

I’ve been working the pricing out and the only kits that will get into the $250 range are the ones with the premium tri stage candy paints. To give you an idea what we’re talking about, a pint of the candy pink base (A PINT!) costs $200. I get 8 cases out of that pint. So we won’t be doing a ton of the super high end colors unless the demand is there.

Oh god, I hope you didn’t think I was going to charge $200+ for cases. That would be rapacious. The custom candy colors won’t be cheap but they won’t be that high.

I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Which ones are considered custom candy colored?  I assuming not everything other than black, but have no idea which other than black would be the cheaper option.  Though I do really like the green for some reason, probably because I have the Lime keyset coming soon, but I'm sure that's one of the candy colors.  I just don't know if I could justify $250 for a plastic keyboard, regardless of the excellence of the paint job.  I'm not saying I don't understand the cost involved.  We'll see.

DSA is a good candidate... Though I feel like it's not the best choice for a 1800 form factor board. You could also try and find old terminal style 1800 Alps boards and mix and match the caps with the alphas/normal 2.25u enters from more common ANSI boards to try and get a cohesive kit. Definitely possible, just takes more work

It's from a datacomp laptop for the Asian market. It has skcm pine whites, fully functional with xt to ps2 converter.
BAE is just a regular ansi 2.25u mounting with an extra set of stab in place of the Pipe key. The one on the left.

I also incorporated BAE before with my UK78 board, abs plate.

Maybe.  What board is that?  Not sure how you would incorporate BAE though

Wow. That’s sexy. How scarce are those? I REALLY want one. I’m a sucker for vintage and even more so for obscure layouts. Thanks for sharing.

What type of USB?

Mini. We considered doing USB-C but in the end it gives almost no benefit, costs more to implement, and makes custom cables more difficult to obtain. You can hardware your cable so I imagine if you really want USB-C or Micro you can make something work.

That is an amazing setup for sure.  I remember the recent GMK BAE interest check revealing that their bae mold doesn’t work with any existing pcbs.  Interesting to see that these old boards did it in a logical manner.

Again, very beautiful build you have there

Do you have a rough estimate for white painted case + pcb + plate? :)

I'm fairly a newbie at this but... if I do get a plate, then I'll need plate-mounted stabilizers? Even though the switches are PCB mounted?

Am aware you want to be sure with prices from the PCB manufacturer. A rough approx would be killer, though. I won't hold it against you if the prices suddenly spiked up

I don’t have a quote just yet. I’m STILL waiting on this new assembly place. I have a quote but not a sample. As soon as the new sample is received and tests 100% we will announce pricing. Expect around $200 total for thrbkit.

We will have GMK PCB mounted stabs available for sale with the kits and they are fully compatible with the plate.

As a rule of thumb, ALWAYS get PCB-mount stabilisers. If you want to use plate-mounted Cherry or Costar stabilisers, the plate actually has to be cut SPECIFICALLY to suit that specific layout. Which precludes all universal plates.

In fact, the only time you generally see the use of plate-mount stabilisers is for hand-wired builds without PCB, or on OEM off-the-shelf keyboards (for ease of assembly)

PCB only will be around $45-$50 USD. ROUGH ESTIMATE. Please don't hold me to this. If this manufacturer doesn't work out, the price could go up by as much as $10 per.

I just hope this new sample gets here quick (its in transit) and we can test it out, place the order before Chinese New Year puts a halt to manufacturing.

Calling all Alps fans.

Here is an imgur link of the Alps plate with some notations on things that are not quite finalized or in question.  (https://imgur.com/a/E73w9)

Any feedback provided would be greatly appreciated.

Things:

-What stabilizer is preferred. I think plate mount Costar will be the easiest to be compatible with all types of Alps caps out there
- Has anyone tried an MX / Alps combo cut out on a plate? Ive never seen it done, curious if it has.

That is all. Waiting to hear from y'all.

We received the new PCB from the factory this past weekend. Everything tested good and we were pleased with the quality of the build.

Just awaiting a final quote, and I plan to place the first order this week. Stock will be limited from the first run (~100 units), we want to ensure quality in the production models. Once the first order is fulfilled and everything goes smoothly, we will open up a second round of orders.

Here are some shots of the new board. (https://imgur.com/a/psis3)

And for fun, some pics of the new candy pink case with the purple plate. (https://imgur.com/a/SWveI)

If there is enough interest we can try to make it a little easier. We can have a HEX file that will make it work out of the box, and once we figure out a way to mount it and make it look nice, a kit could be an option. Worst case scenario we can make a DIY guide and direct everyone to the parts and the procedure.

Wonderful pictures! I'm curious as for how the two runs are gonna go - if this has been decided, will the colours offered for both be identical as well as pricing? I'm getting one for sure and if everything's going to be the same through both runs I'll just pick the one which has the best timing for me personally.

I plan to sell the full kits along side the PCBs / plates on their own until we run out of stock on something. That will generate some capital to paint some more cases and gauge interest / gauge demand.

Initially all the colors and stock black cases will be available but in limited quantities. We had some bumps in the road during the first few runs of paint, so we have some B stock we can sell eventually. Now that we've done about 10 runs of the cases or so the quality is very consistent and we've worked out the bugs.

Which products are you specifically interested in? Maybe I should run a survey and see what everyone is thinking so I can prepare.

A survey sounds like a good idea, personally I want a full kit (possibly 2), painted (white and/or pink) kit - not sure if you're planning on offering assembly, likely not, but I have friends that can help with that in any case.

I believe the 1800's that TKC has are actually black plastic, not the beige ones.

edit: if you really wanted some authentic beigeness, you could always buy an old board off ebay, like this yellowed one (https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Cherry-Electronics-G81-1841LPMUS-00-Keyboard-Model-1800/332532747585?hash=item4d6c7f0d41:g:pq0AAOSwxKBZ9m7v).

We've got NKRO on by default, it feels like fewer and fewer computers have trouble dealing with NKRO but is a configurable option via magic keys or by recompiling.

That's great. I didn't see any mention of the rollover, so I assumed the worst, but looking back on the (over-engineered) design of the PCB it should have been obvious :D

Over-engineered is an understatement:

- Broken out I2C and SPI pins
- Proper hardware PWM support on backlight
- Hardware PWM dimming on status LEDs (currently set by firmware to max brightness, still deciding how to best implement)
- Battery detect - the idea was originally to over BT support as well. I've had trouble getting the AdafruitBLE working. If someone got this working, there is a separate power pin for battery that would allow you to do cool stuff like auto-turn off RGB when on battery

Ive been playing in QMK since long before I got involved in this project. I can say with all honesty that this will be the most advanced board on the market when it comes to QMK support.

This is going to be the board for tinkerers to develop new stuff on.

Concerning the BLE, I'd be super interested in implementing this as well! Actually, I am quite far already with a small numpad I use for testing purposes. Aside SPI, which is definitely needed for this, are there any other GPIO pins broken out? I think two or three would be needed to properly control the NRF module that Adafruit uses.

[Edit] If course, I am very interested in a PCB and maybe a plate, too

Any updates on this? I think I'd really enjoy having the white.

Pins broken out on headers:

MOSI, MISO, SCK, SDA, SCL

Pins easily accessible but not on headers per se:

RGB data (you'd have to solder to the Din pad on RGB1), num lock, caps lock, scroll lock

Due to routing issues, they weren't brought out to points but there are unused pins on the MCU you could attach to if you're skilled enough:

PE3-6, PB0, PB4, PB5, PD5, PD6

They actually start life as a black case. B Stock cases are cases that were painted in the shop and have minor defects. You wouldn't want to paint over that with a rattle can.

Are you still thinking about making the "White Pearl Tri-coat, aka cocaine white." you spoke of at one point?

That Cocaine white is in production at the shop as we speak! Should have them back by Christmas time.

Any updates on this? I think I'd really enjoy having the white.

I know it sounds ridiculous and picky but I'd love to be part of this buy if there's a white kit. Any updates on it? :O

@TerryMatthews, that sounds amazing.

EDIT: I should have the white cases end of this week or early next week.

Pins broken out on headers:

MOSI, MISO, SCK, SDA, SCL

Pins easily accessible but not on headers per se:

RGB data (you'd have to solder to the Din pad on RGB1), num lock, caps lock, scroll lock

Due to routing issues, they weren't brought out to points but there are unused pins on the MCU you could attach to if you're skilled enough:

PE3-6, PB0, PB4, PB5, PD5, PD6

I'm super stoked to read this Terry

Does anybody know if the PCB will work with a tx1800v2 and the tx plate?  I know it says tx1800 but not sure if V2 is any different.  Thanks!

I don’t think they would have changed the design of the PCB. This is by no means a guarantee, but it’s safe to assume it will fit.

I think it will work.  You'd just be screwing in the PCB with the plate.  I hate to be a pain.  But could you direct me to some reading on how the RGB underglow would work? Maybe how you would install it once the PCB arrives?  Are you using strips? And how would you program? Thank you again!  I'll be buying one for sure! Also waiting on that r2 terminal :)

I already have a windows 8 logo 1800, and have a 1838 on the way, but I fear I'm going to have to get my hands on a third one and PCBs for each.

In my experiences I've had good luck with (OG) PCB mounted Cherry, would a plate even be noticeable in a case designed to support a plateless PCB?

I prefer using any G80 case with a plate. It's borderline unbearable to type on a PCB-mounted build

I agree with the plate. Its a good idea to have one in there. The stock G80s used a really thick PCB and offered decent stability. The newer PCBs (like the one I will be selling) arent as rigid. A plate takes it to a whole other level. Its slightly visible between the caps. The case does require a slight modification, and thanks the the help of duynguyenle, Ill have a pretty easy guide to follow in order to make the modification. Originally I planned to mod the cases in house but its far too time consuming for me to offer that.

The (original) PCBs are black or dark brown, so a black plate would blend right in. I have no problem cutting into the newer 1800, but I'm not sure I want to modify the 1838. I may try to reinforce the PCB from below, but I won't know till I have the parts partially assembled

Dont worry about the case too much. All the modification are hardly visible when assembled. Also, I will have brand new off the line black G80-1800 cases for sale.

I know I'm going to need 2 PCBs and at least 1 plate (really depends on the price per plate).

I already have a new 1800 (got it nib, but its basically the same board you guys gutted for cases). It feels like a wasted opportunity to retrofit an 1800 with maybe 2 months of solid use, as the switches are just about the worst cherry blacks available (a few years too old to be 'new' and too new to be broken in or 'vintage'). I had gotten a board with vintage blacks on the cheap, but I finished handwiring the rows, and its too clean to scrap. Guess I'll just have to use the 1800 often enough that I can break in the switches myself :p

No shipping quotes yet. We only use DHL Express for international at this time. I imagine packed in a soft pack bag shipping for a PCB only would be around $20 USD. Shipping the whole kit would require a box, expect about $30-$35.

The under glow RGB is available, but you have to provide and install the LEDs yourself. We did this so the PCB could work in future and existing designs that accommodate under glow. The TKC 1800 does NOT support underglow.

I believe they meant that the case does not support the... existence of underglow. Because it's solid plastic, no windows, no diffuser plate.

There are places for the LEDs on the back of the pcb, I have a prototype that I was using for testing of my alps sliders, and that prototype has the LEDs on the board. They are probably not going to be on there as most cases don't support any underglow, and I don't believe they are going to change the pcb to remove those pads.

First of all, how do you even infer the thickness of PCBs based on pictures? "Looks thicker" is not a scientific measurement. FWIW, the Leeku MX1800 FR4 substrate is a bog-standard 1.6mm thickness (measured with calipers on both v1.3 and v1.6 versions)

For the second part of your question, no the plate for the TX1800v2 will not work in an OG Cherry 1800 case. You will need to either get one from this GB or get one custom cut.

To further this point, the TKC1800 uses a 1.6mm PCB as well, which is the standard for a lot of industries.

Correct. RGB LED pads are in place and supported by firmware, but they will not be factory installed as there's only one 1800 case (TX1800) that supports RGB underglow and their presence in a normal Cherry case requires alterations to the support structure in the bottom casing.

Seeing as they are such similar cases, this question applies to the Cherry 11900. What is a good way to add weight to these cases. Obviously the 11900 is pcb mount, so the tkc1800 plate will stiffen it up and add weight, but has anyone added anything into the case?

The ghetto way of doing it would be to go to hobby lobby, or similar hobby store, and buy some lead weights for pine wood derby cars. Otherwise you will have to do something more custom and expensive.

To expound on this: the slats in the stock case are meant to support the PCB. Anything that doesn't cross the top of the slats is not going to cause interference. There's a ton of space in the case to add dampening material and weight. You will probably want to wait until you have the board in hand before doctoring the case if you intend on installing and playing with either of the headers (I2C and SPI) as you will have to make space to accommodate the headers and routing for the wires.

Long story short, the PCB factory we ordered from basically decided to go AWOL and is not going to be fulfilling the order now.

We already got a bunch of quote requests out. Should know more in a few days.

If any vendors or makers have any recommendations on a good PCB supplier I can use, PM me. I appreciate it.

Thanks for the patience!

Bluetooth will be pretty easy. I wanted to do a module made specifically for the case, but it was going to cost a fortune to design and produce, and the market wasn't really there. However, Terrymathews has been playing with an Adafruit board that works splendidly. And its quite affordable.

It would be really hard to do since the plates would have to be at the factory in order for them to assemble. I’m going to talk to a few community members to see if anyone wants to build a few for people.

Honestly, try building a board! It’s fun!  Unless you’re like me and just don’t have time.

Surprised i haven't seen any update here, but TKC posted this on /r/mk yesterday:
Quote

...
And lastly, The TKC1800 (https://thekey.company/collections/group-buys/products/tkc-1800-kit).
We have a new supplier set up and a new facilitator handling the production of the PCB. We feel confident enough with the new supplier to open up the GB. Currently we have ~100 painted cases in stock and ~30 BNIB stock black cases, 50 plates (more on order), GMK screw in stabs and all the other required parts. The ONLY part not in stock is the PCB. The lead time on the PCBs is about 60 days. We are going to open the GB on Friday, March 02, 2018 at 7pm EST. First come, first served as each color is limited (we will be getting more stock of the brand new stock black cases so those will be an endless supply). Ill post a proper IC tomorrow to get everyone up to speed on the details of the buy.
...
TL;DR
GMK Led Zep - Production complete. Ships Mid-March
DSA Drifter - Delayed approx 1 month
Terminal_ R2 - GB starts after GMK Led Zep ships
TKC1800 GB starts this Friday

The hype train is finally pulling into the station!

I skimmed the thread, and didn't see much reflecting the available colors... Is it only the bright ones shown?

I bought Mint Dolch on MD, and it'd be amazingly super sexy to have a case that matches the minty legend colors :o

AFTEREDIT: The white will do nicely. That's super slick!

Hey everyone! u/M1keHonch0 here!

Here it is. This is the official IC / Sale announcement of a project I have been working on for over a year. I am pleased to finally be able to bring it to all you fine clackers.

TKC1800 (https://thekey.company/products/tkc-1800-kit)

The story

The case:

The TKC1800 is a project I dreamt up back in 2016. I bought a vintage G80-1800 on mechmarket. The PCB was great but the case was a bit sloppy. I came to realize that the G81 cases are identical. Then I acquired a few brand new ones on eBay and swapped cases. It came out magnificent (https://imgur.com/NZQp51P). (I since sold Red Alert to u/kimbless and I regret it every day.) This led me to buy a pallet of used G80-1800s from a nice fella in Europe with the intentions of providing a cheap solution to people for a custom 1800 style keeb. Well, the pallet arrived and the cases were beat to ****. I scuffed a few up in the garage with some scotchbrite and hit them with some Rustoleum. The end result looked pretty cool, although not a viable solution for a product. I contacted a friend who runs a body shop that restores classic cars and asked him to shoot a few and see if its something he could do and would want to do. After alot of going back and forth and testing and trying new things, we finally nailed that process down. I have since also sourced brand new black stock cases from the Cherry factory in near unlimited supply. They come in any color you want as long as its black.

The PCB:
I initially was going to use the 1800L3 PCBs from Leeku. Its a great PCB, the issue was getting enough of them and having control over manufacturing. I wanted this to be exactly how I wanted it to be. I decided a custom solution from scratch was the only way to go. I discussed the projects with a few different community members and was unable to find anyone willing to do it for a reasonable amount or in a reasonable time frame. So what did I do? I hired an embedded systems engineer (at great expense). Worth every penny. The new PCB has many upgrades to what is currently available. The PCB runs QMK firmware, it has and SPI interface meaning you can access the remaining pins on the processor to do fun things, like add a blue tooth module, or an OLED screen (https://i.imgur.com/E2Dki9V.jpg). Lets see what else you clever people can dream up with this feature! Its been a long road finding a suitable manufacturer, but we have finally nailed it down and are ready to start manufacturing. Did I mention its MX and Alps compatible? The firmware has been developed and tested by u/terrymathews and he is working on an OLED screen kit that will be available in the near future. A Bluetooth module is in the works, as well.

The Plate: Not much to say about the plate. I originally ordered them in 1mm thickness, Im not super happy with that. The new ones will be 1.5mm thickness. I will sell the 1mm ones off at a later date with the B stock cases. The colors initially chosen are really great in my opinion. Im going to add a few options to the GB and will place the order as soon as the buy is over so everyone gets what they want. There will be 2 variants available. One for Cherry MX switches with switch top opening and will work with PCB mount stabs. The Alps version will have cutouts for Alps switches and will use plate mount stabs. This way you can use any SP Alps keyset, or you can pick up some Nexus Alps to MX adapters (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=93403.msg2544101#msg2544101) designed by the brilliant u/blindassassin111.  We will be stocking these as well once they are ready.

FAQ

What is the case made of?
The case is injection molded ABS plastic that has been sanded, primed, adhesion promoter applied, then painted with automotive paint.

How much is it?
The pricing is on the product page on our site (https://thekey.company/products/tkc-1800-kit)

Can I buy just a PCB?
Yes. And plates are available also.

Will the PCB and Plate fit a Dolch PAC?
Yes. The PCB and Plate fit in any G80 /G81 1800 case as well as the Dolch Pac, even the OG Skidata board (https://imgur.com/SK8Uirc). But in order to use a plate you must modify the case with a dremel or some other cutting device. We will offer the option to cut the case for you prior to shipping, u/blindassassin111 came up with a pretty slick jig that were going to use to get nice, clean cuts.

When does the sale start? When will the kits be delivered?
The products are available to preview on the site now. The sale goes live Friday, March 2 at 7PM EST. Theres enough to go around so if there is a particular color that you want you should be able to get it. I wont ever make more than 24 of any single color case (except stock black unpainted). Lead time on the PCBs is 60 days. Based on my experience with GBs and manufacturer lead times, I would say 60 days is a solid bet, but dont panic if it takes 90.

Hey this looks great!

Just wanted some clarification..

On thekey.company website when it lists what is included in the kit it says:

Quote
Whats included in the kit?

Case
PCB
Plate
Brand new (improved) bump ons
Aluminum / Brass ID tag
New diffuser decal

and on the front page of this IC it says this:

Quote
Whats included in the kit?
-Case
-PCB
-Plate (optional) Anodized aluminum in choice of color 1mm thick
-Brand new (improved) bump ons
-Aluminum / Brass ID tag
-GMK screw in stabilizers in size of your choice
-New diffuser decal
-Switches of your choice from NovelKeys.xyz

These two are a bit different....  Can you give some clarification about which one is accurate, as this info would greatly impact my purchasing decision.

thanks!

The info on the website is accurate. I need to just remove all the old info from GH. I was up pretty late putting the page together and didn’t clear it all out. Sorry for the mix up.

The cases are only for sale as a kit. In the future when I get more black cases in stock I will offer them for sale ala carte. So right now, it’s only possible if you buy 2 kits.

Just updated the main page a bit. Sorry for the poor editing, Im scrambling to fix some back end issues on the product pages so we dont crash and everyone gets a fair chance to get what they want.

Good luck to all who join! Act fast, I think this is going to sell out fast.

Note: Black unpainted cases, PCBs, and Plates will NOT sell out. Painted ones will, and probably fast.

BTW, can you describe the longevity of the paint? I may join v2 if it happens in the future for matte white case.

It is legit automotive paint, if you take care of it like you would take car of paint on a really nice car. It will last for a very, very long time.

Quick question regarding the PCBs and plates, I may have missed something but I didn't actually see when the GB is meant to close - as in, what's the deadline to get orders in? Just checking since I'll probably pick up an extra plate and PCB depending on how long orders for those remain open.

Im going to order quite a few PCBs so Ill probably just leave it open. Price may go up a touch once the order is placed. Safe bet, 2 weeks.

Did you get what you wanted, btw?

I don't quite get the ordering structure...

If I try to add an orange plate with the case kit, I get a sold out message, but then I can go to the extras page and order any plate I want.

Is this by design?

No. There was a bug earlier in the buy but it has since been resolved. What case / plate combo are you trying to order?

If you continue to get the issue, place your order, ignore the sold out thing at checkout and send me an email to orders@thekey.company and Ill get it resolved for you. I have to go home. Been at the office WAY too long today.

Roger that, 2 weeks is plenty, I did get the case colour I wanted thank you for asking! I just stumbled and cut some corners whilst ordering and checking out to make sure I made it in time so I'll shoot you an email some time this weekend to square up a couple things. Or I can just PM you on Reddit again if that works for you? Would probably be easier, for me at least.

Hey! I’m glad you got what you wanted!

Please send the email. I pay for Zendesk so I can keep track of customer issues and what not. PMs on here and Reddit just lead to people not getting what they need, and that’s not how I operate.

Drop me a line. I’ll get you squared away!

Yo! Absolutely man, I can see why it'd be way easier to keep track of several things from multiple customers via email/zendesk than PMs.

I'll reach out some time this weekend as said, very happy I managed to get the case I wanted right away - glad to see I still got it all these years later, big chunk of my life spent sniping Diablo 2 **** on d2jsp haha

Well that really sucks. I had a tanzanite blue in my cart, with an orange plate and it said the plate was out of stock. Cleared out my cart to get a different color and the blue case was gone. Checked a bit later with cocaine white and ran into the same problem. Now all the colors I want are gone, even though I tried several times to purchase. Pretty bummed about the whole situation.

Oh man, when we first ran >Terminal_ we didnt have Zendesk, and Ill admit, we probably ticked a few people off. One of the reasons this company exists is because my partner and I wanted a company that was relatable, on the level, and actually provided stellar customer service. Zendesk is SO awesome for that. I wish it integrated into Reddit / GH. I mean, it actually could but it would be clunky as all hell.

Anyway, glad you got what you wanted! Sorry the shipping rates were higher than expected DHL raised their rates as of the 1st.

They sure did. Some colors sold out in a matter of a minute or so. (pink, cocaine, tanzanite). I have so many requests for Tanzanite that I have to place another order for those right away. I have orders in with the shop for a few more additional colors as well. Its just the process is pretty time consuming, and the shop can only do so many. There will be more, I promise!

Yea in a market and hobby/community like this being relatable, approachable and humane is the best way to conduct business in my opinion. Not necessarily from a financial point of view, if you're good to the people good things will come with. Good on you for doing that, I can tell you first hand that that has absolutely been my experience with you and your company thus far, and I appreciate that.

I expected the shipping to be between 35 to 40 to begin with, 30 always felt a little generous so I wasn't holding you to it, it's all good. The dollar is really weak right now so I understand them upping costs (I don't know if it's related to that but you know, either way) and it's really not too bad on my end - especially for DHL, it's always better service than USPS with valuable international orders from my experience.
