Is this double-shot?

Is this a double shot keycap?  I can't really tell because it is from a Das II Ultimate/Otaku, so the whole thing is black.  But the edges look very similar to double-shots.

You want a picture of the Das II keys and the spacebar?  Sure.  Just the underside of the keycaps or the top as well?

Wow, they are thick. I like thick keycaps.
Hoping to hear from you again, your dearest friend, sam113101.

yes, they are very thick.  I think they are Cherry's profile as the Das II was OEM'ed by Cherry.  The label says the model is MX3000 USB 0N, made in Czech Republic.

The key caps are made by Cherry, and have Cherry's profile. They are as thick as the double-shot keys, but made from a plastic called POM  instead of ABS. As I understand it, the Das Keyboard II is the same as Cherry's contemporary black G80-3000 keyboard with clicky switches, just without the legends.

Personally, I am not a fan of Cherry's POM keys because POM plastic feels more slippery than ABS or PBT.

Anyone mind explaining me how something can be a double-shot if there is no letter visible on the key?

it isnt doubleshot. These keys are unlasered blanks made by cherry. The lasered version of these keys is found on POS and business models made by cherry.

I can take the picture, but I don't have a scale to weight it or a tool measure the its thinkness.

How about these?  Where should these go on the keys wiki?

Nice pics!  Doubleshot caps have been shot twice with 2 colors of plastic.  For Otaku/blank keys there would be no reason for it.
This is probably in the Wiki though, Ripster has done a lot of work in there.

Yeah, I thought these were double-shots becuase of the edge looks like it has two layers.  Now that I have tried a set double-shot keycaps from a 20-year-old Wyse, I want to get more double-shot keycaps.  Some of the Cherry model numbers are throwing me off.  I see some G81-7910Hxxx on ebay.  Would most of the keycaps from G81-7910xxx work on Filcos?  Thanks.
