Fair enough. I do like playing the "what can I spot in the photo" game... so heres my current state of disaster and projects. I definitely need better storage and a bigger work space when I build a new desk.

We've moved into temporary offices while our main building is renovated, so I took it as a chance to have a clear out and do a decent desk setup at last.

Pretty basic little PC, pair of mismatched monitors.. Using my Magicforce as my daily work keyboard - I'll probably replace it with a TKL soon as I could do with the F-keys for CAD, and a wrist pad for comfort.

It's an alright little space, we'll be in here for a few months so may as well make it decent. Oh and the orange bike model is on its side because someone knocked it over and broke the stand lol, need to find some blue-tac.
KBD75; Alps64 trio; some other stuff

theres 3 more in the drawers on the left, 1 on the vinyl cutter, 2 more on the wifes desk to the right, and 3 more realforces on the shelf off-camera.  :-X

That desk is so old! I got it from Staples in 2005 maybe? i've moved with it maybe 6 times. Its held together with decking screws now. One day i'll build a new one from scratch the way i want and get all the crap off the top and into a shelf/cabinet.

Do I see a LightCycle minivan in that pic?

Yup, from left to right... To-300 with vintage blacks about to get raped for parts... whitefox aria turned gay by artisans sitting on top of my fountain pen collection... hhkb.. minivan with salmon alps... v80 cream alps... sentraq with zealios getting a tune-up.

My change in desk to sit/stand i got in december

its a i.am.autonomous desk pro (dual motor) base and then i got a butcher block style solid wood top from IKEA and then sanded and varnished it to seal it, the top was actually cheaper than getting the desk with autonomous fiber board tops and much more durable. i cut a grommet hole in the very center for keyboard wires to come out of and underneath is insane amount of wires to go to all the **** i have on the desk. including a usb switch that switches between my home pc leviathan and my work laptop which i use at the same time.

i have not got used to standing yet, im 315 lbs, super out of shape, and its actually painful to stand for too long :( hopefully with time it will be ok

old set up is here
https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=57987.msg1972873#msg1972873

the older set up probably looked more impressive, but I love this desk feel so much better, it is more open

Monitor is a HP Z24S, headphone setup is Sennheiser HD650 + Schiit Magni 2U/Modi 2/Wyrd, desk is a Heckler OneLessDesk, chair is a Knoll Remix High.  Not a lot of space in this apt, we try to keep things minimal, my desk and computer top are fairly messy right now.

I appreciate the benefits of MX stem compatibility (I require it too), but with all that desk space available you should be using a real keyboard like a Topre Realforce RGB, rather than a toy.

What mixer is that, and may I ask how you use it in your workflow? Looks like it's set up for podcasting or something similar.

It's a Realistic analog mixer from Radio Shack. =)

I use it to power my mic (also a "retro" mic from Radio Shack).  I run PC audio through it too and use the monitor headphone port for my headset instead of using motherboard sound card/speaker jacks.

I use it for video production and gaming but I might try my hand at podcasting one day.

Have you looked into Synergy or other programs like that? Then you can use the same keyboard/mouse instead of swapping.
