somewhat dodgy Nixies
« on: Mon, 28 August 2017, 03:52:38 »
An apparent flood of nine Nixies keyboards this morning, rather cheap in comparison:

http://m.ebay.de/itm/SIEMENS-NIXDORF-Tastatur-keyboard-BA80-BA-80-/122670795307?hash=item1c8fbfca2b%3Ag%3A8BwAAOSwLzhZozod&_trkparms=pageci%253A079bcbfa-8bbd-11e7-b60f-74dbd1802bb7%257Cparentrq%253A279a1d3915e0abc5afcfbe04fffde1db%257Ciid%253A5

The question remains how trustworthy the seller is. So far he has only denied my bid of 150€, while not sending any photos of the switches as I requested. I hesitate to offer more as the switches may have been swapped. It's also very weird that he offers all his items for 250€! But if it was a total scam he would surely have accepted my 150€.

Any news from others interested would be very welcome...

Whew, that is expensive.

It's too bad no one ever made keyboards that had Nixie display tubes. I would've bought one.
