Thought I'd check out this Geekhack thing
« on: Sun, 03 September 2017, 01:05:41 »
I got into this hobby about six months ago, and dove in head first. As with many others, I am coming over from Reddit, so don't hold that against me.

I design and build mostly wood cases, but I've been branching out into PCB design and running a group buy for custom stainless steel plates. It's not so much branching out as it is going back to my roots. I have tinkered in electronics since I was in junior high, and majored in computer engineering in college. I have been doing mostly software since, so it's fun to get back into the hardware and engineering side of things.

For the curious, you can see my work on my website: https://woodkeys.click

Those are beautiful, anything in a more standard layout?  Custom cases for Phantom PCB or Pok3r or anything like that?

Thanks. I'm rooted pretty deeply in the community, just over on Reddit. Trying to get established here.

Thanks. I do have 60% cases that fit the pok3r. I haven't ventured into TKLs yet since there is so much variation.

That moment when you are looking how to switch to the hardware and engineering side of things after a few years in software development...
I've got to refresh my college computer engineering skills.
