Gonna guess not. Even the colors were pre-decided, you just chose which # on the original Taobao page.

I believe they release a few number (~10) of canoes every month(or week?), but technically they don't call it as "R2".

I’ve got four boards that do cause issues like this even without leds.  Two pok3rs and two coolermaster TKLs.  All four are about 4-5 years old and have cherry switches.  I swapped out the MX blues in one for Kailh bronze and the issue seems to be gone. 

I will say that if you use orings, stickers, or silent switches, you certainly will not notice (it’s that subtle)

I still plan to buy this board.  Just wish they were South facing.
