[IC] JD40 keycap sets...
« on: Fri, 31 October 2014, 13:18:11 »
I am curious, how many have JD40 and would be interested in a keycap set that would be specifically designed for the JD40/Small Fry keyboard?

I am looking to see what would the most common layouts be for those of you with them. I am speaking primarily of the odd shaped keys and their functions. I know what JDCarpe originally posted as possibilities, but those of you with them as Daily Drivers, what layouts are you using?

Is this worth doing as a separate GB?

I think it's more worth it to include JD40 kits in a larger GB, as opposed to selling JD40 sets on their own.

You are right...hey, maybe I can do a GB for blank white PBT keycaps for the odd size and Crayolas for people to do custom legends...

I agree.

I'd rather buy a TKL set that includes all the keys I need to also use it on a JD40 than a set that I could only use on a specific board.

I would be very interested in a set specifically for the JD40 because i have two of them that i use very often and i really need a new keyset.

Ideal profile? Would you want PBT or ABS Doublshot?

Of course, all of this may have a monkey wrench since JDCarpe is coming out with the JD45...

Ideally Cherry profile from GMK, but that requires 250 MOQ, and I don't think there are 250 JD40s in the wild. :)

So DCS profile from SP? :)

All jokes aside...have DCS Rows 2-5 essentially. Can they do 1x1.25 in any row but bottom?
