Hello everyone!

Hello!

I've been lurking on this board for some time now, probably about 5 months. This is about the time I realized my Old Razer Ultimate with MX Blues was over 4 years old, and I decided that I wanted to look into purchasing a new keyboard. I wound up buying a K70 RGB to replace the old Razer, but that didn't stop my fascination with these wonderful things. The stark difference between the Clicky Blues and Smooth Reds and just the experience of the new switch had me hooked. Not soon thereafter I was the proud owner of a Leopold FC660M with MX Browns, which I am using to type this right now. I absolutely love this board to no end, and I am thinking about purchasing some replacement PBT keycaps from widebasket that fit this board's weird Spacebar and comes with an extra shift key that fits the right side.

Glad to finally register, and I'll be seeing you guys around!

Welcome to Geekhack!

The FC660 is a great keyboard - 60% plus arrow keys, and a bonus of two extra keys for display of artisan keycaps :)

Actually if the FC660C had been available when I was looking for an HHKB, I would have been tempted to get the Leopold instead!
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
