Are there many sets?  I'm tempted, but won't have funding for another month or so.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I'd also like to know how many are available?  I also plan on building an ErgoDox soon.  Any chance there will be a set with the ErgoDox keys?

Guess I should have jumped on this when I had the chance.  I've been trying to add it but with no luck.  Why are these produced in such limited quantities when there is such a high demand for them?  These are the best looking keycaps out there.

Sadly, when people add as many as they can to their shopping cart, it zeros out our inventory so that others can't order. We are trying to have these as a regular item on our keystore, but they sell out too quickly! We started with 300, and hope to add a few hundred more.

Someone ordered your entire stock? Or it is an inventory tracking problem?

Oooh, this is very cool!  Will this see the beginning of SP/PMK "stocking" popular/new keycap sets?

I wonder if it is people adding a set to their cart so they can have postage calculated, then abandoning the cart when the total comes out too high?

More likely they add lots to their cart to check how many there are, see that there are plenty, then don't press buy expecting they'll still be there on payday :)

Most carts timeout eventually.  Does SP not do this?

Sorry for reviving this thread but I thought instead of creating a new one I should just use this one.

I was looking at the pictures of the main set and the numpad and can't help but notice that the colors of the 2 are very different. Is it different in the pictures only or it is different in person?

Trick of the lighting in the photos only. There is no color inconsistency in the actual keycaps. I have two sets of Dolch DSA and there are no color issues whatsoever.

Thanks for the reply! I guess there's no need to worry then. Time to save up..

It was just restocked a month ago, so it's unlikely to be in stock for a while.
