Hi all

Been an anonymous reader here for awhile and slowly made the transition from a Logitech Wave keyboard to a KBT Race II, then a Poker II, and now the Massdrop Infinity keyboard.

Building the Infinity was actually quite fun and painless so now I'm more interested in doing more customization.

The Infinity is actually the first keyboard I've started to dabble in customizing case, keycaps, and layout.

I'm currently using Cherry MX Browns, I started with Reds (but found that I don't play games as much as I use to), then went to Blues and couldn't get use to it (and also wasn't as convenient when I did play games, lol).

Welcome to Geekhack!

Nice collection you have started.  Well done on making a keyboard - not everyone wants to start by constructing one - I know I don't :))
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Browns are my personal favourite too, though I'm stuck using blues right now.
