cherry mx stem for custom resin keycap

Is there a stem-only or a thin keycap that I can use to build a custom resin keycap on top of it?

Or you can get a bunch of old keycaps, say from one of SP's crap bags - some people give away the ones they don't want, and cut and dice as required.

Is it difficult to make a 2-part keycap from Resin on top of ABS/PBT keycap? I do not find any keycaps using this method though.

I have no idea.  Model M keycaps are two piece, so the idea is sound.

A lot of people use an old keycap as a base to sculpt something on top, then make a mold from that piece.
