Where did you receive the tracking? Did you just check the invoice and see it there, or did PayPal notify you that tracking had been added? I'm in group 2 and don't see mine yet (Exclusive may not be done adding all the tracking for our round though)!

As long as you provided a valid phone number to Exclusive you should get a text from DHL once it has been picked up and scanned into their system. I'm still waiting for mine too  :p

Well, I got mine today. Looks great. What size allen wrench do the screws take though? I got two and both are too small to turn the ones in the bottom.

EDIT: evidently I got two for fixing the name plate with the little fasteners instead of one each?

Just got my set. Packaging was great. It is a shame though that you can still see marks from where the components were held during anodization. Maybe that is just my set of components but its pretty obvious. The matte black PCB is a really lovely touch. Polycarb plate is also really well done.

My only issue with the kit is that the anodization between my top and bottom housings is really off. It is hard to capture in a photo but my bottom is almost a matte green where the top is a shiny green. It isn't the biggest issue since I will pretty much just see the top of the keyboard but it is still a bit disappointing.

I look forward to putting this keyboard together.

The anod hooking all parts is like that on the inside .i have try myself to make it hard to find.

the color top shiny and bottom matter i thinks is a little ,coz when anod the top and bottom on the same hooking however the top is thinner than bottom ,it will transformation earlier than bottom .

You can find that e6 keycaps gap was less-than other board .
coz standard keycpas gap was 19.08 i have decrease to 18.88 it make looks gorgeous

about hhkb layout you need push  1.5 alt switch and 1 u win (or something ) to left ,move the switch then solder

Absolutely incredible quality on this case and I can’t wait for the switches to get in so I can build it.

On another note, did everyone who got a bootmapper pcb get the matte black one?

I got the QMK pcb and it’s a yellow/orange color that IMO doesn’t look that nice. I’m not super bothered by it but if I had known they were going to be different colors, I would’ve chosen the bootmapper pcb. Especially since it’ll also most likely be ported into QMK.

Finished building my E6 last night, really surprised with the quality of this board.

Typing test is with filmed 68g Vintage Blacks lubed with 205g0 on a 1.5mm poly plate.

Just built my E6. My only problem with it is that since I chose the MAO option for all my nameplates, the letters are almost impossible to see even from just sitting at my desk. White was used to fill in the engraved parts for two of them and for the plate that says e6-v2 there is no filling at all so that one is basically invisible even up close. Other than that everything is perfect and I'm glad I joined this group buy

I have the same thing with my MAO nameplate and it makes me super happy I decided to get a second in a different color. Though the MAO was my first choice before I realized it was “blank”.

You could just build with pandas and pull them out for modding since they have those sockets

This may come as a shock to you, but I believe some refer to this unusual phenomenon as a "pet peeve".

It's not like my keyboard noise is any less quiet or annoying to others, I think it just has something to do with the noise being transmitted through a video. If it were real life my blood wouldn't curdle like it does with a video; there's something about it I just can't put my finger on. Like an uncanny valley but for sound instead of 3d animations.

e: I think it might have something to do with the actual video being of someone's hands typing. If the video was of text being typed into an editor then I could probably focus on the sound more, and not cringe internally so much.

Yeah I thought about that, then tried it just now. Still feel the cringe. I have no idea what it is. Sound fidelity / not in person? Unnatural typing speed; as in, you normally would type with pauses and gaps? Can't see the text being typed? I need help either overcoming my typing test video watching issues or my typing test video impulse to watch knowing what'll happen issues. Or my *****ing about it on gh gb thread issues.

e: Just to reiterate, I really do appreciate anyone who loves the board so much as to take the time to record themselves typing on it, as a means of showing off its awesomeness. Kind of hard, even for me, to **** on something like that and not give credit where credit is obviously due.
