Rate the avatar picture of the person above you. Considering there is nobody above me, I'll start with mine.

I believe it to be really very witty as it adapts Engrish well known to Geekhack into a meme, and that it actually (kind of) fits the formula of the original joke.

I love anything from Miyazaki and Ghibli and am still very very jealous of Ripster for getting to goto the Ghibli museum.

Edit : Sorry back to the task at hand and since I posted again I will rate Reaper at 8/10 cool image is that from an animated Batman movie or something?

Haha Batman. =D Go here for some info on the anime series and you can watch it on Hulu (don't watch the movie, it's horrible compare to the anime). The one in my avatar is a Shinigami named Ryuk.

In the next scene, the cat is surprised that the mouse survives, because its immune to that poison.

However, the mouse was not able to drive the steam engine properly anymore, which caused the accident pictured above.

I do however choose to rate redpill's avatar as it reminds me of a game that kept me really occupied for a long time years ago called Death Rally.

Sometimes a shady guy would ask you just before a race to pick up some pills that would be alongside the tracks for some extra under the table money. Those pills were red kinda like that.

So 8/10, would have been 10/10 but the fact that I want to play the game again is a minus. Compatibility issues are a nightmare on my system for older games. They just don't seem to like the whole dual monitor + SLI + multicore + 64-bit OS combo.

Your avatar is too nerdy for normal people, so thats good. But on the other hand, its a ducky, and that isnt on top of the nerdlist among geekhackers. But i like that its subtle, and you have to look a while to notice the text and what it is. 8/10!

Way nerdier: it's a Sinclair ZX spectrum (8-bit computer from the early heighties... I've also got an ATARI 600 XL and a C64 etc.). But I'm not the only GHer to have this avatar

(someone else picked the same way before me, but I only noticed afterwards).

Btw I think it's silly: when people will change their avatar this thread won't make any sense anymore

Come on... as a keyboard, a Spectrum would rank 2/10. It's clearly better than the ZX80 / ZX81.

As for avatars, Mr A500 looks like a fine upstanding young man, but I'm not into fine upstanding young men, so I will only rate the gopher. Gophers are also 2/10, since, like Sinclair computers, they are good only for target practice.
