I appreciate everyone who pitched in on the browns. I believe my initiative to pay to get the browns to the 20k mark worked. I think it has tipped without even needing my order, so I was able to reduce my order to a more reasonable 500 browns.

I too choose black because of someone but couldn't remember who precisely.
Somewhere in the folds of my brain there should be a geekhack monster made up of multiple avatars.

Ordered 100 each of clear, black and browns, and paid up.

I'm going to swap in some clears for the outer modifiers on my ErgoDoxen, and probably most of the thumb cluster. And I want to build a Atreus at some point in the near future.

Limited funding and all that, and wouldnt want to try and borrow from somewhere else or antyhing like that.

Either these switches/switch tops, 2nd Hyperfuse, HHKB (possibly have the chance to get one if i can visit EK tomorrow). Just a lot to think about lol

I will probably end up pulling the trigger on at least 100 switches though.

Put it this way. If you are going to do any build projects in the next year or so, buy these. Any build project will require switches and you won't find them for less than $.50/each (usually) for MX switches. These switches cost nothing compared to MX right now. I will have enough switches for like 8-10 projects. Yes, that is excessive, but this is a really good deal for what you get...

Edit: As for amounts. If you don't know what switch type to buy, get enough of each of your first two choices and you should be good...

This is a group buy. Plan on it taking 3x as long as the original timeframe, no matter what the organizers said.
