Screws under Feet

10centNickle:
What is your opinion on keyboard screws under feet?

Findecanor:
On vintage keyboards that have them, the adhesive will not always stick when you put the feet back.
It's better when you don't have to remove the feet at all.

The worst are the ones that have screw only under some feet, which fool you into either/or both of:
- thinking that you have removed all screws, when there are some left hidden under feet
- unnecessarily removing feet that don't have screws under them

_rubik:
I'm generally not a fan.

I probably open up each board ~2 or 3 times a year. Some adhesive rubber feet are harder to find (or proprietary) or the adhesive is just plain bad. Having to constantly replace feet or stock up is a pain.

Hard to open board

While it can be for cosmetics, it's often used as a way for companies to make a warranty void sticker without labeling it as such.
