Hey Rensuya, any chance for a purple spacebar kit? Could the spacebar kits also be broken up by color? Specifically wondering about a 2.25u/2.75u split and a 7u in purple.

Otherwise, I really like this kit and your work in general!

So mod color spacebars. I will look into adding a separate kit for it.

No chance for a South kit? Was looking at this set and I really like it for a board I'm building for my young daughter, but she'd be confused without the ISO-PT at this stage (learning how to type).

Love this set! If I'm not broke I'll be in for Alphas, 40s/Ortho, Novelties, and maybe spacebars. Haven't decided if they yellow bars are worth it yet... I'll probably kick myself if I don't get them though.

The novelties kit is pretty decent, but it could use some 1u keys for rows 2 and 3 for us 40s and Ortho users.

I mentioned it in the google form, but is it intentional for only the crimson katakanas to lack the homerow textured underlines? Alts have them so I'm not sure if mistake or done on purpose for aesthetics. Would prefer them myself.

Could you add a second Tab to the mod kits (and maybe a second 2u backspace also)? In this case you could cover two 60-65% boards having different bottom row layout with two alpha kits and only one mod kit.

I'm not planning to add extra tab/backspace keys since the kits are already much cheaper than others if someone wanted to double up, I also want to retain the current pricing we have for the tkl model.

Just saw there was a new IC form up. Submitted that a few minutes ago. The kits look really good. I like that R2 and R3 1u novelties got added! I also like that there's Minivan compat in the 40s kit. That's one of the boards that I want to get this year when TKC releases them. Can't wait!

So to cover the De part in the North kit there is missing one key. In Germany we have the same 2 key as seen in the UK kit ( 2 " ) maybe you could add that one (or I am blind and not seeing it)

Indeed, it looks like the 2" key is missing from both the North and South kits.

Also, the French kit has two keys that can be removed:



These are part of IBM's old specification for French layout keyboards sold in Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco, but the keys aren't actually used in practice, nor do they produce those symbols (٪, ٭) on any modern systems. The symbols look nearly identical to the ù% and *μ keys anyway (in fact, the key on the right is practically a duplicate, since the star is supposed to be five-pointed, not six-pointed).
If you were to follow IBM's specifications literally, you'd also have to replace all \| keys in the set with \¦.

This is a really nice looking set, and as a JIS-layout user I want to say THANK YOU for including R4 ろ and R3 む in the katakana sets.  It makes a big difference :-)

If I could make one more recommendation from the point of view of JIS, an R1 ー (sometimes the line is inside a dotted box) key would make this perfect for JIS input.  This key is the third key to the right of the 0 (one left of the backspace) on a Japanese keyboard, and is used to lengthen the previous syllable, as in キーボード (“keyboard”).

Proper JIS support on kana layout keysets is so rare that honestly I’m just thrilled you have the ろ and the む, so I don’t want to push my luck, but I did want to give you my input as an everyday JIS user.

Other than that, I love the red and gold colour scheme, and I think it would be really suitable for an urushi-themed keyboard I had in mind.
