caps lock led support to a non led pcb QMK
« on: Sat, 17 December 2022, 09:11:18 »
Hello

i totaly new in pcb moding and i have a question ,if its possible to manual add a caps lock led (custom wiring)  and be able to make it work if you program it with QMK.

i am talking about the Plain60-C rev2 pcb.

I've just had a look in the firmware and at the PCB and it's almost like they want you to add an LED because pin B0 is not used but looks to be connected to a hole just below the controller chip, alongside 5v and ground connections.

Go for it :)

It's a good first mod and you're not going to break anything - if the firmware doesn't work you just change it and try again.  I'm interested to see how/where you mount it so please post some pics when you're done :)
