Is the mounting style the same as the U80 by RAMA?
Past Keyboards : LZ CLS, Unikorn, Noxary X65, KFE CE, HHKB Pro2, Realforce TKL

Current Keyboards: FC660C, HHKB Pro1, GSKT-00

Similar array of components but this is more of a PCB mounted board and is overall quite different.

I commented earlier in the thread about how much I love this layout. It's so perfect! And it's a beautiful board. Been wanting a 75 percent like this forever. But I just noticed that the plate is polycarbonate - that might be a deal breaker. Polycarbonate just sounds and looks so awful to my ears and eyes. Any plans to give an aluminum or brass plate option? Or, release a CAD file so we could take it to local machine shop and have an aluminum one made?

I've ordered both aluminium and polycarbonate plates to test. I'll see which I like better. I might even try a half plate.

Number of Units?
The way negotiations are going, it will be an unlimited GB.

Does this still look to be the case? Very interested in joining this one, and digging that it will be VIA-configurable. I'm fairly new to the community, and I don't have much time outside of my professional life to pick up QMK right away.

Also, could you clarify your "aims" with the case (testing PC plate, mounting system, etc.)? I'm curious if they align with my own preferences, such as sound and feel. Tried combing through the thread because I thought I read about them somewhere.

Regarding your second query, I am after a soft bottom out without having crazy flex in the middle rows and a deep, muted sound.

I don't know what the final price will be but I can say that it won't be sub $300.

Have you gotten closer to choosing the colors for the cases? or is it still up in the air?
Black, blue, white and grey are confirmed, silver and blue/grey are tentative. I'm still trying to get the manufacturer to confirm the number of colour variations that we can have.

It looks like I'll be replacing stainless steel with silver pvd brass because there have been issues with warping.
I could change manufacturers but I like the finish and anodising of Matrix boards.

I've been posting some teasers on my Instagram but the gist is that the top, bottom and logos have been machined (I guess you could say the stainless weight has been as well even though it's failed) and they are doing the brass weight now.

The PCBs have arrived and they look gorgeous.

Sorry if I missed the info in the previous posts.
Is there a rough estimate on when the GB will start and how long afterwards to deliver?
I am planning my future purchases based on this :)

I really like it!

So many people are expecting to buy this keyboard.

Of course I am also waiting for this keyboard every day.

And I have some questions about this keyboard.

1. Is there one color for logo and bottom plate?

2. Can I purchase more than one person?

3. Can anyone participate and succeed in the group buy period?

4. Can I buy multiple PCB boards in case they fail?

5. If the logo and bottom plate have different colors, can you purchase more colors?

6. Is E-coat suitable for electrophoretic coating?

7. If you look at the PCB board, you can connect the switch to the position where the logo is inserted. Why?

8. Does the PCB board come with both quick swap and general version? Or is it only one of them?

9. Do the bumpons and screws used for assembly provide additional allowance? Or can I buy separately?

10. Do you plan to do r2, r3 after the first group buy? Or do you plan to put the remaining stock on the market?

So far I have been wondering.

I will ask you if you have any further questions.

Thank you.

So many people are expecting to buy this keyboard.

Of course I am also waiting for this keyboard every day.

And I have some questions about this keyboard.

1. Is there one color for logo and bottom plate?
The options so far are PVD black or silver. Whether you can choose the colours for those separately will need to be discussed with the vendor since it would double the number of order combinations.
2. Can I purchase more than one person?
The vendor intends to run this as an unlimited GB so yes.
3. Can anyone participate and succeed in the group buy period?
Yes, as per the above.
4. Can I buy multiple PCB boards in case they fail?
Specific details still need to locked in but because this is a bespoke PCB, I'd really like to offer the option to purchase addtional PCBs.
5. If the logo and bottom plate have different colors, can you purchase more colors?
I've answered this question before but I've held back on putting it in the FAQ because it hasn't be confirmed but that is what I'd be aiming for.
6. Is E-coat suitable for electrophoretic coating?
I don't understand this question but the white is an electrophoretic coating
7. If you look at the PCB board, you can connect the switch to the position where the logo is inserted. Why?
There was room for a footprint there and I was tossing up whether to offer a top without the top right blocker/logo but I've decided against that (at least for this buy).
8. Does the PCB board come with both quick swap and general version? Or is it only one of them?
Only soldered
9. Do the bumpons and screws used for assembly provide additional allowance? Or can I buy separately?
Do you mean extra screws in case you lose one? I'd imagine there may be a couple of extras
10. Do you plan to do r2, r3 after the first group buy? Or do you plan to put the remaining stock on the market?
I'd like to focus on this round before I think about the possibility of future rounds. Regarding extras, that would be up to the vendor
So far I have been wondering.

I will ask you if you have any further questions.

Thank you.

Possibility of a carbon one? Or maybe share the files for people wanting to cut it?

Been following this project for some time now. Looking awesome so far. Definitely looking to get a unit, grey or dark grey. Do count me in even if private gb. Love 75%.

Considering selling my VE.A. Have to control how many keyboards I have, I don't need so many boards that I don't use.

The shots look awesome. Really unfortunate the stainless steel weight didn't work out. Can't wait for these.

I've been following this for while and will most likely get it. What do you think about making frosted acrylic or pc logo with led?

I assume that there will be a daughterboard, and I have a couple questions about it.
1. Will it be parallel to the pcb or to the table top?
2. Can we buy extras?

1. Pcb. I tried modelling it parallel with the table and it looked awkward because the cable head housing was getting close to the edge of the weight.
2. Extra pcbs should be available for purchase.
