So the plate mount will work similar to the mount on Wilba's Thermal?

The plate looks very interesting - really curious how it will work in the end.

Any updates on prices / vendors ? Really really hope on a EU vendor / proxys - as i‘m tired of high shipping / taxes.
I'll need to talk to the vendor about having an EU proxy. May be possible because we will have a Chinese proxy since it didn't make sense shipping to the US and back to China.
thanks for the info - this would be really awesome

Really hyped for white

With 7V and Dawn its really 75% Time  :thumb:

The theory is similar but execution is very different. The thing I'm worried about the most is whether it works out as intended because if it requires rework, I'd require both a new pcb and bottom piece.

Stainless steel will be the default but I think there are some stores that sell black screws online.

Black on black is a winner for me as well.

Think I will throw GMK Dark on there too for a completely blacked out look. UMPH! Thanks for the update!

No pricing yet. I try not to give estimates because there are costs that still need to be worked out such as packaging + handling. I will be leaving this up to the vendor.

Would we be able to get the silver blocker badge even if we are planning to go with the black pvd weight? Or are do we have to go with the black badge?

I think the way I want to do it is that the raw polished steel weight will be the default and the PVD is an optional upgrade.

Added some quick camera photos which are slightly better than the factory pics.

The blue doesn't look too bad imo, though its not as similar to the render version. I'll wait till the finalised version of the blue is shown before I pick a color I guess.

I agree that the blue doesn't look bad at all but it's not the type of blue that I want. With grey and black as options, the prototype blue isn't different enough to be warranted as an option.

True, its a no brainer for me to pick up the blue color if they could make it as close to the one in the render pics.

What I meant is that I won't be doing the prototype blue as an option and will be aiming for something closer to the renders.
It will be more of a build album rather than build steam since I don't have a particularly good PC nor camera.

Hmmm maybe. It will be up to how options can be handled under shopify. There should be provisions for purchasing additional logos and weights though but I'm unsure whether you can mix and match to the degree that you are thinking of.

I hastily assembled that one and the plate/pcb isn't seated properly. I have another photo somewhere of the black with GMK caps where although it also hasn't been soldered in, the plate is aligned with the blockers.

EDIT: Photos linked below.

I'd say that this layout makes any misalignment more obvious because the separator around the arrow keys steps around.

Using EPBT exacerbates the issue because of how the caps sit higher than GMK. You can get around the issue by designing taller walls but it will make GMK look sunken in if the walls are too high.
In my photo of the blue, the right side of the whole PCB/plate is actually lifted so it is incredibly wonky around that area which means that the PCB probably wasn't sitting in the mounting recess because i screwed the top and bottom together.

So I have both keycap sets you used and just put them both on. I see what you mean. The hammerworks caps make it extremely noticeable. The WOB made it better. The space between the enter key and up arrow is the only place where that gap area was unchanged when switching between keycaps. Im not sure you if your prototypes show that. Its like only my enter key is lifted, weird.
