Hi all,

I have put a review of my HHKB2 on my site, hopefully it will add something to the community!

Can someone please tell me who created the GIF's I have used in the switch guide? I wanted to ask permission but I put that up during the outage so couldn't ask.

Thanks :)

Nah you don't really have to. It's all good.

Thanks :) I'd love to create one for Topre but my image editing-fu is weak.

Hey longweight,
Something I've been wondering since first seeing the K60... could it be modded to be fully mechanical?  i.e. would a cherry switch fit in the cutout where the rubber domes poke through?  I know there would be a few other hurdles to get past a well (i.e. spider web of wires...), but if the switch won't fit, that kinda ends the idea right there...

Thanks!

I'm not too sure! It's a possibility but I didn't take it apart to have a look. Do rubberdomes have the same pinout as MX switches?

No, you would need to run wires to each switch and then run them back to the circuit board. I assume there is some sort of connector between the RD and main board. Would be quite a challenge, but possible. But again if the switches wouldn't fit, it would be a show stopper.

If I ever see one for cheap, I might give it a go...

Either that or someone has cut each blade of grass individually ;-)
