Title: Mechanical Keyboards Makes Dreams Come True

Here's my keyboard.

Most of you probably see something like this:

I see this:

I don't hate non-black color schemes on keycaps but, to me, a red WASD on an otherwise monochrome keycap set is not in itself a good color scheme.

I've been searching for black WASD keycaps for my Ducky Shine for over a month, to no avail.  Then I stumbled upon Mechanical Keyboards' "Name it. We'll do our best to get it. (v2.0)" thread.  With little expectation of success, I asked about black Ducky Shine WASD keycaps.  Mechanical Keyboards quickly responded.  Not only was Mechanical Keyboards able to get me a set of black WASD keycaps for the Ducky Shine, they got them to me in three days.  Thanks, Justin!  From Mechanical Keyboards' willingness to handle a custom request; to the communication; to the ease of completing the transaction, in spite of having to use a workaround; dealing with Mechanical Keyboards was pleasant and every step of the process was simple and painless.


I look forward to doing business with Mechanical Keyboards again.



Now my keyboard is one sexy beast.

MK.com is an active GH vendor - interaction with the community provides so many benefits on both sides!

By the way, what happened to your original black WASD?  Both of my Ducky Shines with black keycaps had black WASD, and red WADS included as an optional mod.

Thats good to hear! How did your keyboard come with only red wasd? Either way, both looked just fine in my opinion!

My keyboard only had red WASD keycaps because I bought it used.
