Yeah, they seem to serve two different purposes very well--protected storage or display storage

You got it!

I was going for the 'display' solution in this particular instance (had to add 2 more options to the IC though :()

Here's hoping we can get both!

Wait, I'm confused. Do the NPKC ones have some sort of cover? How can they stack if they don't?

Negative, no cover, I'm planning on working with them (MD - hopefully) to get some additional supports put in so that they are stackable.

This will be the first time they will run these so I'm thinking we can have a little bit of say (if it does run that is)

Check out the [IC] for a running list of 'features' that would be nice to have.

Don't thank me just yet; as others have pointed out they've been out of stock for months. D:

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
