I want to share my idea with you, guys.
There are several important principles to make keycap.
First, it must be beautiful!(criterion is my eyes but...)
so to produce a keycap, I make 3 or 4 real size samples.
After 3 or 4 times modification, I can get what I like.
Second, it is practicality.
I check when it is pressed, function is okay or not at the same time no pain.
but frankly with you, it is not easy.
so sometimes, I give up practicality like before EVA.
Actually this is most difficult part, convenient and beautiful design...
In the case of metal, plating is needed for clean and long sustain shining.
According to my experience, only plating with thick nickel make it possible.
Well... My black Darth Vader turned bold long time ago.
I like new and special so...
I decide to give up this part-long sustaining.
you know there is nothing that does not change in the world.
From now on, I start to paint custom keycap for new style.
Well, losing color after using is natural.
(quick and easy solution is RESIN... made of Silver is sustain the surface but... price is so high)
I feel comfortable after `giving up`this... hehehe
Recently, one of the gallery in the singapore asked me to display my keycaps.
They like unique girldc style keycaps.
With this condition, we can see girldc`s keycaps there for about a year.
I think I am on the board!
This is a good chance to change the idea
from `keycaps which wanna buy`to `keycaps which wanna have`.
Some knows about me and some are not.
But just let me show what I am going to do for new style.
