I just realised that the slash is actually a backslash on the ISO 7 key. Not a big thing, but anyways.

Engicoder, I hope you have a speedy recovery and thank you so much for running this GB.

Do you think you could ask SP about possibly making some correct ISO "7/" keys? I'd be willing to pay a little (for the key and shipping) to get mine. Or perhaps you should wait and see if any other issues crop up as people receive their sets, so they can be sorted in one shot (although hopefully that's the only issue).

Waiting patiently for my set to arrive :) They look amazing on a white board!
Buying more keycaps,
it really hacks my wallet,
but I must have them.

Yes, I will look into it. It wasn't a manufacturing error. I double checked the original images and the error was there as well, so it was my mistake from the beginning.

Pics! :D
Sadly I found another misprinted alpha in the ISO kit, in addition to the 7 key backslash. See this pic.
I like the deep dishes and I had completly missed the Control capslock key. That one is perfect since I use caps as control.
Great keyset! Well done, all of you who participated to the design :)

Edit: The green text on the brown keys almost look glow-in-the-dark in the light from the screen :)

The second mistake you found is an SP mistake....will add that to the list to follow up with.

I got my order. They really look great in person. I'm just not sure about this profile. I wanted to try it but...  I think I am just far too accustomed to Cherry profile and sculpted. I suppose having the uniform flat profile is more what I dislike about the typing feeling than the height. So, as great as they look I can't see myself really using these...

[EDIT] My set is sold.

This set looks really good in person.

I specially love that it has the tactile bumps for J and F as well as scooped and normal.
(And tactile bumps for 4 and 7 is amazing!!)

This is such a good thing, I wish it would become the standard for SA sets.

I was oggling the Retro set and thinking... I don't know, I want it pretty bad, but it doesn't have bump homes.

Dish homes are dizzying for my large callused fingers, although I've been using them on my Nuclear set and have gotten to the point of reluctant acceptance. I've been trying to think of a dot mod to add tactility but haven't come up with anything.

The 4/7 is a *dream come true* since I often type long numbers and am TKLess. I've gone home crazy.

Found another small error with the Nordic set. The "¨" (used for accents such as ü) dots have become a equal sign somehow.

Oh well.  :)

Edit: Oh yeah, on the Norwegian layout the tilde key (next to 1) is "|" and "§", but that key was lacking even in the design part, and no one caught it! :P

By the way, did anyone that bought the alternative gradient kit only to use it on a 60%? I would like to buy three caps of anyone in that position. :) I'm going to use this on a 75% keyboard and I need the F5, F6 and F7 from the alt-gradient kit because the top row of a 75% keyboard is so squashed together. As seen illustrated below.

Normal with alt-gradient on the left. Stock base kit on the right.

tl;dr: I need to buy the F5, F6 and F7 from the gradient kit.

Any chance to get some 1u keys extra?
Anyone got some spares he wants to sell?

I would need 3x green/blue (I think VBV was the color code) , 1x red, 1x orange and 2x brown.

Finally got my caps! Thanks Engicoder for proxying!

Album here.

I need a few keys though, so if anyone has any of these, I'd like to buy them:

From the Alternate Gradient Kit:
  • F5
  • F6
  • F7

From the Color kit:
  • 1u Red "1976" key
  • 1u Brown "1976" key (not important)

If you want I can also trade away stuff from the Nordic/Slavic set that I'm not using.

Nice! Just put in my order for the base tkl set, alternate gradient kit, and mac kit.

Is this a fire sale or something? Because I ordered with shipping to Canada, and my total came to ~$115 CAD. PMK was going to charge me ~$40 USD I believe for shipping to Canada for the group buy, so I don't know how this came out to so much less.

EDIT: (I remember the GB price being > $150 CAD for what I wanted)

Actually the prices are higher than in the group buy. PMK was terrible with estimating shipping charges, so I imagine that is the reason.

So, I finally got around to putting the rest of the keycaps on a keyboard (had only done my number pad), and was sad to discover that some of the larger keys have obvious "swirls" and/or indentations to the plastic.  Is this normal?

Doesn't sound normal, but these things are a bit subjective...

Could you provide some photos?

Next time you do this, I'm in!

Also, was wondering if you tried shifting the colors over or "extending" the bright colored part and lessening the brown (so it's brighter like the ergodox), was that not very appealing?
