Seems like 1060 6gb is selling between 250-300,  1070 is between 350-450..

Pricing varies depending on model, accessories, seller reputation and of course desperation.

There was a few 1070's that have sold for $500, not many, but a few.

3060 mobiles have 6gb
3060 desktop has 12gb
3060 TI desktop has 8gb
I have no idea why the desktop 3060 version will have more than then desktop 3060 TI but it will.*

I won't be surprised if the 3050 desktop ends up with 6gb but in all cases, be prepared for sticker shock, all cards are getting a 30-50% price hike. Scalper prices for everyone!

Even if someone is unlucky enough to have no friends, family or colleagues who know anything a 30 second search would reveal old reviews showing that the new price at the time was less than the used price now - not doing this is only further proof of stupidity to me.

That's the price of NOW.  A person can wait,  but if the economy ramps up, and everyone goes back to slavn' , he won't have time to play computer games.

So the NET FramesPerSecond consumed is LOWER, even if a consumer gets a better deal later.


The only way to make up for it, would be ultra-high frame rate monitors from the future, where 500-1000fps is possible. Currently it just gets really smeary.  And you'd have to play alot of quake3arena

The only ones getting $700+ are new old stock or lying and claiming to be and they aren't selling, it's people fishing.

Used are (actually) getting $350-450 on average.

Could also be partially driven by Nvidia's lower GPU production forecast for part of this year.

Pricing and availability are why I'm holding onto my 1080Ti (glad I have it under a fullcover block so I can push it's clocks and keep it cool for moar frames). .   Pricing is ridiculous even from retailers on the new hardware. 
If SLI was truly beneficial I would opt for another 1080Ti w/ a block and stay there.
