i bought 3 t-shirts($20 each) from valve official store with shipping cost and they still charge me $30 extra.
friend of mine bought some item around $150 include shipping and they charge him $70 again here.
i hope there will no problem. but if it possible to use other shipping method i'll very glad.

the default are the matte ones right? i actually didn't know that i can have them in a semi-gloss finish close to SP's until today but I e-mailed z-frontier about it already. Asked them if the pricing would be affected if i would want to have them in semi-gloss. but if that'd jack the price up i'll just leave it as is to avoid complications with the ones who already paid. Would really want it in semi-gloss tho.

I thought so too. That's why my original plan involved compatibility keys such as the hhkb bs and backslash. But when i proposed the desired keys for the set, they told me that i can't have those.

I have bought 3 keysets from Zfrontier now, and I haven't been charged any extra for either of them yet. I'm not saying it can't happen but it hasn't happened to me yet at least.
Sometimes I get charged with items from the US either by DHL or customs office here in Denmark, but so far no problems from ZF.

Its pretty normal especially since its only been about 2 months. There isn't much to say until they are about to ship out or are delayed.

So after a few follow ups asking for update, they told me that they're just starting the color sampling today. I'm sorry but i think this will be pushed back. I wish i could've done something to prevent this but i think they are also filled with orders recently. Again I apologize everybody. I will give you updates non stop whenever i get some and will also keep asking from zf and maxkey.

Yes. The color chips from SP is still on its way to the factory. I believe once they get it they will be able to get things done. Again I am really sorry that we are delayed but i can't settle with inaccurate colors. I want this to be the best it wasnmeant to be.

Lately I have not heard favorable things about maxkey's. I am starting to wonder if its a case of they become to popular to fast and can't handle the backlog.. are if its a case of just lack luster service. Kinda sad thought for SA fan's as SP and Maxkey's are the only two real SA producers I know of.

Yeah, I think it was sort of a big shift. For a while, SP had backlogs of YEARS, and tons of projects going through them... Then Maxkeys showed up and was like "Look what I can make for $100 in a few months!"... And then a lot more projects started going that way.
And last I heard, I think SP's SA backlog is down to 6 or 7 months...

SP increased capacity for SA and a lot of people have done maxkeys GBs, so SP's backlog is down to 6 months

I asked them(maxkey) if they can at least get a color that's close to BFO because i can't accept a compromise that big that we're gonna replace the alphas with a completely different color.
I'm in need of your opinion guys, will it be better to wait for the chip and have the set perfectnwith accurate colors but with a longer waiting time or do we have them mimic the color to something that is close but is very uncertain? Please do respond so I know which path to choose. After all this is all for you guys.

Zfrontier and I opted to just wait for the missing chips and asked SP to expedite the shipping.
Good decision. You worked hard to design a great set and that's the set we want. A few more weeks isn't a big deal. The only thing bothering me was not knowing what was going on. Now that we know the situation and have a time frame, I'm happy. Thanks again for all your hard work, SiegeTowers. This set is going to make my custom build perfect.

Hi. I asked maxkey if they can proceed but they don't want to because they're afraid to face complaints from the community due to inaccurate colors. That's why we chose to just expedite the shipping.

Making physical things even with local manufacturers is difficult. Add in international comms and a market where demand is higher than supply and you have a realy tough job. This buy was closed by the time I saw it but you did great work. Hopefully round 2 will come along and be easier :)

ZF will be receiving them by sunday and by that time they'll be asking me for confirmation and after that we're good to go!!That's great news! Don't kick yourself too hard Seige, this was your first GB as a runner and there were some unusual circumstances surrounding it and the Chinese New Year didn't help the lack of communication. I don't disagree that it would of helped if you said there was no communication early on but since the initial update after that you have been phenomenal at updating us on this thread. What happened with this set was similar to how SP got backlogged I feel and honestly everyone in this hobby should be pretty patient regarding anything, we wait forever for a lot of stuff. I appreciate your communication and just want to let you know that you haven't done anything wrong with this buy. Keep it up man, I'm stoked for this awesome set!

SA Night King shipping out this week!!
For the most part the novelties look good, only the night king novelty is slightly different from the original design but it doesn't look bad to me. Also the alternative ESC key is a different color of blue from the render. However neither of these are deal breakers for me, and I'm excited to get this set.

I Do think the legends are less crisp than my other MaxKey set but that's probably due to this being ice color and the other being black. Other than that I'm happy!

I don't really like the novelties, I know nothing about GOT, and don't really care for it.
Anyone want to trade my set of novelties for an arrow cluster kit?
I want to replace those 3 bottom row keys with something, and the 3 R3 arrows from the cluster would work.

That looks great, I have been mulling over MaxKey lately, how do you find their keycaps compared to SP SA sets in terms of finish, material, shape, quality etc etc ? Will greatly appreciate feedback, anyone else using MaxKey sets feel free to give your inputs.
