Looks like the NEC tactile clicky switches (pictured here), but at the same time, it looks like it doesn't have the nib that the NEC does.

Just out of curiosity, does the lego ''cross'' fits the cherry MX stem (question mark, for some reason the tablet can't regconize the shift key+/ combo)

The bottom of most Lego pieces are round circles. No cross or x that would fit an MX stem. I don't think I have any like Technic pieces which might be MX compatible. I assume you don't have any either or else you would have tried it.

Going to take a wild guess and say it looks like a scissor switch board. But it also kinda looks like an Apple AEK which has Salmon Alps switches.

I always do that. Out of 10PMs at least 7 answer: I don't want to destroy anything...

Yep, I have pretty much given it up. Doesn't matter, I have always been successful with my guesses, never had a rubberdome in the mail.^^ I guess I will give it a shot. And even if it's a rubberdome (which I don't believe, look at the height of those caps), it's a nice old one, with a non-standard layout, so it would still be a cool addition to my collection.

I think s/he meant the pieces with the crosses on the sides.  See this: https://www.thedailybrick.co.uk/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/700x700/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/l/e/lego_technic__brick_1_x_2_with_axle_hole_32064darkred.png

I couldn't find any of those pieces quickly. I think linziyi wanted to try and put them on MX caps so that s/he could have Lego Ninja Turtles to go with the Ninja Turtle set i3oilermaker is running.

Not sure if there is one for differences in heights but there is this link from WASD that shows rows. That being said, different companies call the rows different things.

What shall I do to attach an image or images directly from my local computer?
I tried to post some pics of my Keyboardworks, but I couldn't. ;(
Even though I have made/assembled/tuned HUNDREDs of keyboards for others, I myself don't have a full-tuned Custom Keyboard now.

Well as you know, I have that tour coming up so you'll be able to try some. But now I'm curious. Is there a tsangan kit for thick pbt caps? Does anyone know/

maybe we need to get this made

I know Signature Plastics sells blank pbt caps in different sizes. I'm not sure if they're thick and I don't know if they sell caps that are pbt and printed. And JD gave us our answer so maybe someone should run a IC/GB ^__^

I've already got three :P

just my ducky has 108 keys and i would be OCD about those four odd ball keys.....

The four in the upper right? There are TONS of R4 (E) Thick PBT caps that would work with them. Zelda hearts for example, but there are many others and Imsto has a lot of them.

SP has some blank DCS 1.5x row4 (bottom row) PBT caps in stock. The two white ones are WAN and WFJ. They also have some 7x DCS ABS spacebars in WFK, WFO, WCK, and WEA.

I understand, but Imsto caps only come in blue, gray, and white (beige& white sets too). All the R4 caps mentioned above are one of those colors and most are white.

I was kidding when I said you needed to try it, but I do want you to know there are options out there.

So get four of these (I realize you don't have YOTD) - http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z10.3.w17-4996320547.35.kVle4Y&id=18129840144&

Or one of many other designs he has, put onto a gray cap lol
