Hey everyone,
I had commented a bit on an oldish thread on the DSI Modular Mac Keyboard. After several delays (and no blueprint of the game pad
), they finally shipped me the main board. The keypad will be sent to be sometime later. I will be posting a full review after I have some time to play with it a bit more but I did write a paper on it last night (Woo! Technical Writing Majors!). So here are some initial observations from someone who has not used a really good keyboard since the '90s:
Blue Cherries are clicky - This is a very good thing. I was playing a bit with how much I have to press down to activate the keys. It is a bit odd for me as I have been typing on generic keyboards for quite some time. I really like the noise that the keyboard makes now.
The build quality seems quite nice to me. Will include pics in later review
Unfortunately, there is no feet on the board. Although the no slip feet on the board are quite nice and it doesn't move but there are no pop down feet to raise the board up to the angle that I'm used to. This draws a frowny
from me.
That's it so far, if anyone here has any other questions about it, I'll try to answer as much as I can.
