I disagree with eating loose soft food (like rice/beans/sauces) with your hands. Sorry India and Ethiopia, you are ****ing wrong.

That's akin to saying "we eat sandwiches by hand"
And while pizza and fries are not snadwitches, they are encased in bread, which generally falls into the hand category.
If you are scooping sauce and rice out of a platter, that's not hand food.

loose food

Loose food is the reason that utensils were invented.
"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

Here in the American South, eating pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers, BBQ, fried chicken, French fries, fried fish, bread, and some vegetables with your hands is normal.

Since a lot of Southeast Asians got resettled in my area after Vietnam, you sometimes see people using chopsticks, but that seems to be fading as the older generations die out.  Many restaurants still provide them, but you have to ask.  I have attracted stares when eating spaghetti with chopsticks.
