Some quotes I'm getting are putting it right around $70 to me, I'm going to keep digging tho x.x

just fyi, i'm prepping the geekhackers learn to solder kit right now and it will be available within a week. price TBA but competitive.

I have a Hakko 888D now, because I was able to get a good used deal off Amazon, but I've used one of those Edsyn soldering irons mkawa is talking about and it was quite good. (P.S.: it was a test prototype, so I had to return it.  Otherwise I wouldn't have looked at that Hakko).

This + shipping from me -> you only puts it $5 under amazon prime pricing, i.e. not worth.
