[IC] Olimitto Keyset (Project Paused - Keep Ideas Coming!)

Hello Clackers!

This is my first post here and I'like to say that I love the forum and that I'm very happy with my first mechanical (Keycool 87 w/ Reds) that arrived 3 days ago. Nobody here knows me because I'm active on /r/MechanicalKeyboards and never had anything interesting to post here. Well, I waited 42 days for my keyboard to arrive and spent these days drawing stuff, keys and icons on Inkscape. Yesterday I decided to creat my first keyset which I'd like to present next.

The Olimitto Keyset:

This keyset was severely inspired by the vintage Olivetti Keyset from the 90's and I'd like to know if you guys have any interest. ABS doubleshots, DCS profile I already contacted Signature Plastics and I'm waiting for a response right now regarding more details. ISO layout and Numpad cluster are yet to be designed and I'm entirely open for requests. That said, here's the keyset.

Hands down the keycap set that I've wanted the most. I was going to buy one from originative, but seeing this happening I will totally support the project.

Would be so cool if we get a retro WIN flag key tho.

I'm trying my best to make it happen, we are together mate! Do you think that we should swap the PC icon for the iconic old school Windows Flag? I still have the vector here. As I said, 42 days drawing stuff is a heck of a time.

Tomorrow I'll hit /r/MK with these images, all they've got is my old imgur album. I'll release this update you guys are seeing here to them and hopefully we'll have a lot of people supporting this keyset. If you want to take a look, here's what I showed to them. It's really different:

EDIT: Let me add that I've found ou that this version I showed'em is not even producible because of the 0.02" rule.

Please consider offering the "\" and "~" keys in Mod color as well for the symmetrical look.

And I'd actually prefer the standard text nav cluster. I think it would be better if you offered both options to get more interest!

I removed the little PC from the Windows key and added the iconic flag. Check OP for updated images!

I think it's better to offer these two keys in both colors (Mods/Alphas) so people can choose whether they want the classic or the symmetrical look.

This I like intensely, due to using mostly ICONS here, brilliant job.

We are all use to seeing words on keys but having images is the next best thing.  Not too much of that being offered anywhere else in key-sets these days besides Matt3o's Granite series.

I'm assuming OP is running this through the SP group buy system they set up?  Also, has said OP thought to contact GMK to get dat thickness along with the font?

Hello everybody, I'd like to thank everybody here for the ideas and interest on the project. But I'm kinda running it as a side project to the PuLSE Keyset right now because of the massive interest it has gotten on the last couple of days. I gotta work more on the mockups and update this project a little bit, so we I'm pausing it right now. I'll resume it as soon as the PuLSE details are all set.

We can all agree that hashbaz is only cool because of obvious reasons. Klaxbaz sounds way better.
