BTW as with the last one, are the PCBs going to be made in batches of 24? Because that's going to cause an issue unless its going to be first in best dressed ;p

Yes in multiples of 24. So we're aiming for 24 first. Let's just see what the majority wants. I'm down for either colour. Might just change it to a single choice (white or red) if everyone is okay.

The PCB will fit any poker housing. Though the hammer isn't transparent so there is no point having LEDs on the underside. The NerD 60 is also fully backlit compatible so go nuts with your lighting )

I don't know what to choose, I have 2 faceU boards with red PCB and is really nice, I'm getting a white faceW from sprit's GB and have the Black NerD60 which is really awesome.
I think I would go with white, but maybe we should go the extra mile and do something really crazy like an orange PCB. The orange PCB + black MX switches housing = GH Nostalgia and one thing is for sure, an orange PCB was never ever produced, just a thought

I would prefer a white on the grounds of backlight flexibility. It would help reflect the light from the backlight LEDs, and allow you use any colour without affecting the colour.

Also looks good on a fully clear/translucent case.

Wow that was exactly why I wanted white!

I envision something like:

White stickers, clear switch, clear switchtops, white pcb, titanium/silver plate, then you can add whatever colour LEDs and it will be super bright

Case wise I'm still hoping for a Hammer case.

Changing Colors from Green needs extra cost. So, stock white NerD 60 will be $55($53+$2).

After a very quick look at your image I think it shouldn't be a problem for any of your 4 layouts .

So far, there's 8 response but majority seems to prefer white. Maybe we should just concentrate on white for this round ?
I have a white pcb actually but I don't mind getting another white. If we're concentrating on white, I'll change the first post if that's alright.
BTW, I've talked to GON. He said there might a new version in a few months time. If so, should we wait for it ? Of course, the price would be adjusted.
As usual, I'll try and update here as soon as I get any new updates.

Well, I would say go for it. A good quality keyboard/pcb is a good investment, with good resale value. Untill a new version is released you can enjoy this one and when the time comes upgrade, there is always someone interested in a good board, especially a GON NerD
I would love a wireless NerD60 but until that is available I luke some high quality board to type on

A version 2.0 white 60% is obviously the cat's ass but I'm fine with reselling the 1.0 board and buying the 2.0 board when ready.

Wireless programmable 60% with Universal frame and Matias quiet click or nice ergo clears,  trampoline Browns is darn near perfect.

Keyboard is fully programmable but for that function you would still have to install the tmk software.

55 USD but if we go over MOQ by a long shot (say 70+) GON might do free soldering (kind of like R1 where we didn't hit a high enough interest to get free soldering)

Remember to multiply your layer with the Macro one ,

Fn , Fn2 , Macro , Macro + Fn , Macro+ Fn2 , not sure if you can do Fn+FN2

Now I understand why you want TMK, when I started in this mech boards hobby I wanted that too, now I don't even use macro's. I have one layout that I want on all my 60%, the exact same one, program the board once and that's it. I like simple things and I like when I change from one board to the other to expect the same behavior 
But I understand why you want to do all that stuff, I can double check at home on my NerD60 PCB what is the exact part number on the controller. In order to flash a new bootloader you will have to figure out where the headers for the ISP programmer are located on the PCB, do the flashing with the risk on bricking the board and finally reverse engineer the matrix on the PCB, that is yet another sisyphean task, because if you don't know how the matrix is you will not be able to use TMK.
The best way would be to wait for the GH60 it works out of the box with TMK, it was designed for TMK. Or biuld a keyboard from scratch, plate mounted switches, handwired matrix and a Teensy or Teensy Clone here is such a board http://deskthority.net/workshop-f7/brownfox-step-by-step-t6050.html

The best way would be to wait for the GH60 it works out of the box with TMK, it was designed for TMK.

The downside with the GH60 is that it has no support for LEDs aside from caps lock and (rumored) WASD cluster.
I would like to do indicators for custom events and whatnot, and the GH60 simply doesn't support that.

That is exactly what I have currently, even used that forum post (and it's source) as a guide and inspiration behind my current setup, but again, big downside is the lack of support for backlighting and LEDs in general (it works, but having a PCB definitely makes it easier to work with), plus I don't like how flimsy the "loose" diodes and wires feel. I tend to travel with my keyboard from time to time, and I have on several occasions had to resolder things, and it usually happens when I can't do it and I need to use the keyboard. A PCB eliminates that problem.

I understand the part with handwired setup, is nice as a DIY project but for long term a PCB is better.

I share the idea of having tmk as firmware on that pcb. I hope this will be possible. I have no idea on how to flash the bootloader and what they are for at all. Tmk powers a lot of pcbs, is open and full of features.

btw, I would be also interested in some information on the different led zones you have on gons pcb. How many of these zones are available and which keys are in each zone? number zone? modifier zone? alpha zone?

I  like options but Gon's firmware can support my use cases.    Infinite layers and multimedia macros don't mean much to me beyond being able to make alt f4 2 keys rather than 3,  being able to map a ten key and supporting colemak layout
